Greetings! The Tepui Foothill was awesome! A bit tricky to get the hang of setting up and taking down because it has three sets of poles that telescope but once you do it a few times it’s easy. The overall construction was beautiful and I really liked it. The quality was great. I upgraded for a larger tent and wanted one that was black to match my entire setup and ended up with a Roam Vagabond which is equally fantastic and has an annex which helps greatly.
Taking down can be very tricky. The cover just barely fits over it no matter how good you packed it. Like a very snug carton-box you phone came in, you have to pull it over on each corner at the same time. This gets annoying real fast. You could either make your own cover or modify the original.
In the winter it was horrible. Had to use the diesel heater on both soft shell tents to heat the covers up enough to stretch over lol. The new hard shell zero issues in any weather.
Hello, how is the experience with the Tepui? Kind regards from the Netherlands.
