Hello Crypto Guide, thank you for the explanation! Is there any way to make btcrecover search for different words in known positions? I have the problem that I have a 24 words seed, but for some word positions several words are eligible. For example word 1 3 words, word 2 2 words, word 3 4 words and so on. Can this problem be solved with btcrecover? Thanks a lot!

@@kryptogunny4625 You can use a tokenlist for this. You also need to post a new comment if you want an answer, as I don't get any notifications at all for any posts where the original comment is over a month old.

I have 30 words. But I know that for different positions can only be 1 of up to three options. How can I test for this.
    Example
    1. BOARD or WISE or DRINK
    2. HEAVY
    3. LEMON or GHOST
    4. POINT
    Etc…. (Ex only)
How is it possible to Limi the algo to only placing those tries in the position they could be and not in the whole 24 mnemonic places. Reduce the tries and compute time.

Any suggestions if you have 23 of 24 BIP39 seed words (possibly out of order) and looking for the 24th word?

If the funds are out of order then you are likely stuffed. If you just have 23/24 then just follow my most recent video, as all the defaults will work fine.

Just select that you have a standard BIP39 wallet, it will automatically handle native segwit address types.

Not really, a 12 word scrambled seed with 15 extras is going to take an impractically long amount of time. (About 10 thousand years with an average CPU)
Even if you could get a 1000x speed boost that won't really help. Basically you could hold on to it and hope that computational power increases by 100,000x over the next 50 years.
