7:32 this is something i always wanted from pokemon, the ability to outfit your pokemon, not just state boosts but see the equipment on the pokemon, classic rpg stuff, they gave us avatars with bear bones customization but nothing for the actual stars the pokemon themselves? wheres my armor sets wheres my dress'es bows ties, hats, claws ect, the posibilities are nearly endless and they do nothing... even palworld hasint used this idea fully but they did a hell of a lot more than pokemon, giving some pals weapon upgrades.
there's a pretty valid reason for this.
i mean just imagine the absurd amount of extra modeling to make what is effectively a variation of the same item for every single pokemon
@@comet.x "absurd amount" go look at warframes level of costumization for theyre 0ver 50 way higher detailed frames, considering the massive difference in size and money the devs have when compared to pokemons devs, pokemon has the monay and size to make whatever the hell they want... they just... dont. and i was never even asking for that level of customization, the same model of a hat or bow could go on many different pokemon its not that complicated, and sure spicific things like armor for some pokemon would need to be modeled different for them, thats not a big ask for the biggest media francise on earth is it? you think the ideas absurd when theyv made over 1,000 different pokemon designes? are you joking?? you must be joking, or a troll. your definatly a troll.

In the case of Metapod, its a chrysalis, not a cocoon. Kakuna is a pupa, not a cocoon. Cascoon, Silcoon, & Spewpa etc. are cocoon themed bc they emulate what silglk worms & bagworms do while they gesticulate & grow; but those are directly attached to the rest of the mon. They're not separate.
The appearance of the official cocoons looking like eggs is why they are called eggs: it's based on mnemonic devices not precision & accuracy.
