Happy Birthday Noble "Remember, no matter how pathetic Luigi is...he can easily do a level for you if you suck at the game too much." - Mongolian Proverb
Luigi may be silly, and a bit of a coward, but he is rich and Mario is still a plumber. Luigi is doing something right floofing that furniture in haunted houses.
umm, wasn't it more that Luigi just has terrible luck? In the Paper Mario series, he became a hero, acquired a SECOND princess girlfriend and gained international fame... only for people to think "there's no way that's him" and call him Greenie (if I remember right). In most of the titles, he's also capable of the same feats as Mario but tends to slip and fall on slippery surfaces or get bumped from behind, etc. In fact, his special moves in Super Smash Bros involve him exploding due to his abilities malfunctioning or functioning correctly on a hair-trigger.
I mean, that skyrim loading screen is the wabbajack which comes from Sheogorath xD The biggest jokster in TES xD His Oblivion quest had literal dogs raining from the sky. He would love it (and hate it) that his staff incites laughter.
here in Brazil there is a common phrase "pirating Nintendo is an obligation" because the price of 300-400 reais (which is literally 1/3 of the minimum wage) is not enough, we pay for a game that doesn't even come in our language with a company that doesn't even care about its fans so much that Nintendo doesn't even have regular stores in Brazil and all its games are imported and are even more expensive. So... it's me who's a fan of Pokémon, it's complicated
7:48 Technically a 10 year old game since it came out in 2014 on the Wii U. It's crazy too because Nintendo used drop prices after a while. Before the E-Shop closed last year I got Wind Waker HD for 20 bucks.
6:58 they aren't selling fast travel. They're selling a fast travel point, which you can place down. There's already 5 in the game and you can only place 10. It was this way in the first game as well. Doesn't make it good, I personally wouldn't buy it, but I also think this misinformation is really stupid.
Also keep in mind any thing in the microtransactions can be obtained an hour into the game anyway. The microtransactions are really only there because capcom required them to
Happy Birthday Noble! Have a good one 🥳🎂 Also Luigi is such a loveable goofball, coward and we all love him for it. We also love seeing our green boy save the day 💚
Hey just want to point out that the news story and tweets is a bit of misinformation that's spread around the internet. There is fast travel in the game that you can unlock the dlc warp crystals are more like buying the ability to place down custom warp crystals which is very helpful to have in the early game but not the only way to fast travel. Also happy b day noble
6:40 if that was true they should have made it so it was worth more to not teleport. I have played games that heavily lean into a fast travel system but make it preferable to not use it. But then they wouldn't have reason to make a profit off you wanting to just get between A and C. Also those microtransactions look like microtransactions _for_ microtransactions. Picotransactions. Also from the sounds of it saying it's a game store with a game attached is an overstatement for referring to there being a game attached. It's just a set of microtransactions with the implication there's a game buried somewhere. I suppose that's one way to get around any laws against microtransactions by simply saying you're selling the opportunity to buy stuff. 10:11 I will always imagine her sounding like Ironmouse. 10:55 even without being aware of soyjack it's still a hilarious looking staff.
Happy birthday Noble! As far as Dogma 2 goes you can get all those things in game, you don't have to buy anything. Rift crystals aren't that hard to get, you find them on mobs and chests and your pawn brings them back when they are used by other players, make a healer pawn for fast RC. They did update the game today too add the New Game option, yes it was scummy to leave it out in the first place. It's a lot of fun, don't let the hype hate prevent you from having some fun!
Running into the desert of bahk'batal the secret way F'd me up. I got Caelid flashbacks so hard. Was running a marathon through a full-on kaiju war. 10/10. 👌
happy birthday noble, I've been watching you since I was 14, I am now 22, and when I was 16 you liked a post of me wearing your first merch shirt release, I'm still here lurking and loving every minute of being here, thank you for being here for me through some of my worst times man
Happy Birthday Noble! Don't be too put off of Dragon's Dogma 2 because of the microtransactions! The items for sale are items you can get in the game already. If you buy them, you are just getting them earlier than you normally would by playing the game for 2-4 hours. The assumption is that the Devs were forced to include microtransactions by Capcom, so they included a bunch of useless purchases that are intentionally not worth your money.
Don't be so naive. They don't put in microtransactions that are useless and never sell. If they don't sell enough, they just tweak the circumstances until they start selling. If they can normalize this to any degree, they'll keep doing it and other companies will follow.
The DD2 situation is hilarious since all microtransaction items can be easily obtained in game -- just like RE and DMC's microtransaction. However people only bitch about Dragon's Dogma. I wonder why.
Likely cause o the reason people who played dd an ddda didn bat an eye at dd2's stuff. They played re/dmc before an understood that they didn have to pay for those things to get a complete experience. People are idiots. when io was a kid, physical videogames often had a special discount version when they became older, like platinum versions of ps2 games. and even nintendo had discounts on their games. as i grew up with limited allowance, i often relied on these, and bought gba & ds games for 20$. so seeing nintendo nowadays with their "discount" on 5+ year old games feels like an insult
