hey I have a few questions related to the tour you took- 1) how long did they let you guys snorkel at every spot(especially at Manta Bay)? 2) what are the directions to the less crowded cliff point of kling kling? 3) when did you guys go and how was the tourist situation in Nua Penida (in general) during that season? apologies if this is obnoxious but I'm thinking of going with my family in May 2024 and I want to know if it is worth to tour Nusa Penida for a day!
It probably depends on weather / water conditions (and the water was pretty rough that day) but I'd guess we were at each snorkel spot for around 20 minutes (you want to be ready and be one of the first ones to jump off the boat & last ones back on). At Kling Kling we just followed the tour guide to the less crowded point. He cut right somewhere between all the little shops on the walk to the main point. I think it wouldn't be too hard to find, or if you take this tour they'll take you there. We went late April and the tourist situation wasn't too bad, I'd imagine similar to how it will be in May. If you're thinking of going for just a day, I highly recommend this tour we booked with Viator (the link is in the video's description) it was amazing for getting all of "Nusa Penida's greatest hits" done without having to stress at all about figuring it out yourself! Have an amazing time traveling with your family that sounds amazing!
Looks like it is around $48 (and included pickup and drop-off at our accomodations). The link is in the description of the video if you want to check it out :)
Happy belated birthday Iven! This was another beautiful vlog!
Thank you so much Mary! So glad we could belatedly share the day with you! Very epic way to start a new decade 🥳🎂🎉
Love the video! Sums up Nusa Penida quite well, and the manta shots were crazzzzy! I miss y'all :)
Thanks so much Kian! It was such an insane island! Miss you too!
