Mike. I can't wait to order mine next week. I'm going to use mine with the Parrot app. Just bummed the Smart Prompt Pro went to a SaaS model with monthly on annual charges, instead of a one time fee.
Loving the cold-shoe mounts.
Is there a reason for the camera L-bracket to be at and angle? It looks tilted down?

I purchased this teleprompter in hopes that I could use it to shoot videos with my iPhone (forward this video to the 8:10 mark). You can definitely clamp your phone to the teleprompter as shown here, but good luck shooting the video. Bottom line, you really need a DSLR camera. I've tried everything to make it work, but it's useless. the challenges are too many to list here. The teleprompter itself is very nice, it holds my Ipad very nicely and the PromptSmart app works great. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use any of it until I purchase a DSLR camera, which is very frustrating. DO NOT purchase this teleprompter if you plan to shoot video with a smart phone. You would be wasting your money. If you have a DSLR camera, then this is a great buy. I should have done more research before purchasing.

Hi Mike, I just purchased your teleprompter. My camera is a Sony ZV-1. I like using this camera because of the side flip screen, that allows me to see my positioning in front of the green screen. Will I be able to use my camera with the side flip screen effectively? The teleprompter and case look and feel like great quality. Thanks

The teleprompter in the cardboard box, can you take it off the rail system like you can with the one in the custom case? I have my own rail system and would like to just use the teleprompter on my existing rails.

Would this support and balance a rigged FS5 w/ Fujinon 18-55, or would I need longer rails? Also, what are the dimensions of the case?
