    Dude, Molly is frickin hilarious, so many laugh out loud moments from her. Hope she sits at your table again in the future.

    I changed the prisoner to a man who tries really hard to convince everyone that he is definitely not a virgin. Regardless of the fact that virginity has nothing to do with being a sacrifice. He just heard that virgins get sacrificed and he’s offended that he might have been assumed to be a virgin.

    This was a blast to listen to! I was pretty sure Martin would think his masters´ last wish was maybe to investigate the ooze of the Hound's pit and then get the black orb (good thing he didn't). Hope you'll do another DCC module in the future! :)

    I started running my first ongoing DCC campaign after several amazing one shots. I started with Starless Sea and I'm either following that up with Shadow Under Devil's Reef or this one. I really appreciate you putting these out. I struggle taking in the modules with just reading them.

      That is great to hear, dude! I'm glad you're getting into it. I'm glad you find these helpful! Hopefully unlike me, you won't be coming off of a five hour drive immediately before running it :D I think both Devil's Reef & this one are good but I think for an ongoing campaign I like this one more. Hirot is a great place for a homebase for an arc or a while with the internal politics of the town and the surrounding area being rife with opportunities.

    This is a great module. You run it all in less than 3 hours, amazing.

      Yeah I think next time I do this I might slot it as a two shot so I can let it breathe a bit more and have more happen in Hirot but overall I had so much fun with it! I just love the adventure's vibe.

    Good party and pace. A lot of the sequences and encounters felt flat, however. I suggest establishing narrative tone over bulldozing through rolls. Its the seat of the soul.

      @wasabiburger3047  Год назад +2

      Yeah that's totally fair criticism. I came off of a 5 hour drive directly into GMing as soon as I got through the door so it was definitely not my best work!

    I'm gonna sound total dumb but what apps u using to show your players the map and vids of thier faces?

    • @wasabiburger3047
      @wasabiburger3047  11 месяцев назад +2

      Not dumb at all! We are using Foundry VTT for the game and using discord for the voice call. And I used Streamlab OBS to record it all together! Hope that helps :)

    This was a lot of fun, what did you guys use to play it?

    • @wasabiburger3047
      @wasabiburger3047  11 месяцев назад

      I'm glad you enjoyed it! We used Foundry but I also bought the Doom of the Savage Kings Foundry module for $10 I want to say and once you install that, it sets up basically all the prep at the click of a button so most of the prep was done for me!
