    Thanks this helped out. I also was trying to figure out how to miter the 45 degree cut so I now know how to use draft.

    Hi new to fusion and 3d modeling. Thats a great idea and I don't know why the software wouldn't come with a standard parts library like that from the get go. I do have a question though.
    How would you connect the individual parts to each other?

    This is great except for the fact that you need inventor to make it work? Im trying to find out how to build my "Standard Part" in fusion??

    New to fusion 360, and looking for a way to import steel shapes........but you have to own inventor to get the models? Thanks
