Back in the day we would typically use the adjustable Silvretta 500 telemark bindings. Paired with stout cross country skis and climbing skins, it was a neat rig to speed up backcountry approaches. These bindings could be adjusted to fit most double plastic boots (I used them with Koflach Artic Expeds and Lowa Civetta Extreme climbing boots). Sadly I do not think the Silvretta 500 binding is being manufactured any more - but used bindings are occasionally available on Ebay.
NICE! 💪👏👏👏❄❄❄
I've put my heater on 18 degrees, so I think I'm pretty trop stylé as well.
Cool vid hope your ok from if you got frostbite
Thank you, no frostbite fortunately, but we were happy to go home in the end. 😊
Ooh, it's squeaky cold, I hear.
Wow
What trousers do you use?
I's a North Face with Future Light technology, but it's shitty to be honest, I'm always cold and wet, and it's fragile.
@@edbzn seems like everyone has that issue with them, heard the same thing from various partners. We call it FutureWet©️ technology.
Did you use mountaineering boots for alpine skiing, if then what setup are you using?
No I had my alpine boots in my bag pack.
