@@sandysyoutube3810 it doesn't contain acid. Why would it be relevant? You are REMOVING colour. I don't get it. Used this Magic Eraser for at least a decade
Fantastic! What a beautiful design. I've been using stencils (and yes, they are so incredibly addictive) with alcohol ink with amazing effects also. I can't wait to try this. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your amazing talent!
Hi there! I'm new to your channel and really enjoyed watching this tutorial. I love your ideas here. Your colors are beautiful and perfect for fall. I'll give this a try and I'll check out your other videos. Thank you for sharing your talent.
This turns out truly lovely and I'm going to try it for myself and have some fun, but for me it is more of a demonstration than a tutorial. There are few captions and no voice over to explain what you're doing. Please would you tell me if you dry the paper between each layer of paint before going in with the stencil lifting out technique? 🙂
Just so very relaxing to watch your process!!! Have to try this technique! Do you have to damp paintbrush over stencil area first each time before lifting? I noticed for some that you just used the toothbrush- maybe the brush itself had enough moisture? I loved the entire video/music❤️
Oh i should have mentioned that, you only need to use the damp toothbrush (on this Baohong cotton paper). I use the brush more when using non cotton paper as its a bit more delicate ☺️
Grazie, un’idea stupenda anche per chi come me sa fare solo scarabocchi. Nuova iscritta. Peccato solo che non ci sono i sottotitoli con la traduzione, sarebbe più facile seguirti. Saluti dall’Italia 😊
Does anyone know if you can get cheap dollar store magic erasers and if so, would this work? Please let me know. Thank you and please everyone remember to be kind.
I am entranced by your art!
Thanks! ☺️❤️
LOVE YOUR WORK ❤❤❤
☺️❤️ Thank you!
Absolutely fabulous! Do more please!
I like how you keep adding layers to create depth
Thanks again! These are so fun to make, will definitely do more 😊
Try using the magic eraser sponge. It lifts colour so easily without affecting the integrity of the paper…. And have fun😀
Ooooooo, does that work? Have to give that a try! Thanks! 😁
Ypu have to be careful with the magic eraser too
My understanding is that eraser has a chemical acid type thing. Wouldnt be archival

Очень понравилось! Я сначала думала, неужели из этого можно что-то интересное вытянуть?! А у вас получилось, я так обрадовалась!
😃
Great! I do this but use a damp Magic Eraser and it picks up a lot of the colour without too much water which might seep under the stencil 😊
Oh i have to try that!!
Great idea.

Thanks! Stencils with alcohol ink? Oh that sounds interesting!
You could also go back in with dark paint, using the negative space technique to strengthen the image.
Oh yes that would work really well with this 😃
I was thinking the same, not an outline but add to some of the areas to keep it loose.!
What an awesome technique with lovely results! I wanna try this soon!!
Thanks!! 😄
This was so interesting and a great technique, can't wait to try it. Thanks!

I dry the layer at about the 3:20 mark in the video and let it fully dry before i start the stencil lifting
Fantastic!

Loved how this turned out! Would like to see more.
Thanks so much! Definitely have more coming ☺️
What IF ...😊
You used some Chinese white watercolor paint to create some milky transparent stencil layers....?
I haven’t tried painting with the stencils yet, only removing the paint. I wonder if that would work?

You can also use a regular sponge instead of the magic eraser if you use non cotton paper that lifts more easily 😊
@@KristaRobertsonArt ohh sweet thank you so much ….any idea on mixed media paper what would be best to use?
I dont know but i would try the sponge first or a magic eraser if you have that. Might not want to use a toothbrush for mixed media paper.
