@@christianrobledo6172 speaking of F90, where did the Jestas go during UC 123, like I get SNRI became the new mainstay MS manufacturer for the Federation which is why they still got Jegans, but where did the Jesta go? You'd think something superior to the Jegan would have remained by that time maybe as a newly adopted mass production MS rather than relegating it to special forces, it's the same thing that happens with the p220 series pistols irl it used to be the pistol only for the airforce but recent years would see it be adopted as the m17 pistol for the entire military, you'd think something similar would happen to the Jesta considering that it seems like a better platform with how modular and powerful it is yet not a single Jesta to be seen almost as if it never existed
@@traphimawari7760 your guess is as good as mine. But also remember, f90 and the rest of late uc had existed before the jesta's existence. The story of f90 and f91 was out in the 90s, while we didn't know about the jesta until the release of Gundam unicorn almost 20 years later. Not to mention that after the Unicorn gundams were sealed and the phenex disappeared, there was no reason to keep the Jestas as they were created under the UC Project to work in tandem with the Unicorn Gundam. Most likely if we ever do get a Gundam f90 anime adaptation, perhaps that will explain what happened to the jestas. Because don't get me wrong, they are impressive mobile suits, however as the technology progressed with small scaled mobile suits via the formula project, anaheim's silhouette formula project, and with the crossbone Vanguard mobile suits, at a certain point the jesta would have been obsolete due to their size and output just like the Jegan when it was massacred by the Crossbone. I'm sure the big wigs at sunrise will figure out a way to make some lore explaining the Jesta's absence, especially since we didn't see it in Hathaway so far.
The Jesta is hands down the most badass non Gundam and can actually hold it down against them. When they were chasing the Phenex I was thinking GG spec ops squad. Yall gonna die...but nope they held it down multiple missions
Jesta: I'm awesome. Federation: Let's keep using that fat Gustav Karl all the way to Hathaway's Flash, instead of making something based on the awesome Jesta.
I assume that it was more costly to manufacture the Jesta than the Gustav Karl, which is why there are more Gustav Karl units used in the Federation forces
Most of my favorite mobile suit designs are the crazier designs like the unicorn or Barbatos lupus Rex, but jesta is by far my favorite militaristic mobile suite.
Too bad it kinda sucks....they made it a general suit but it feels like a support with better melee. No evasion roll or Inv. frame. As though it was a balanced trade for a command guard with it's shield. I'm a big fan of this MS but this was underwhelming 😒
The Jesta line have one of the coolest designe in all the uc time line. Is like playing with the ODST armor in any halo game. Just imagine being a zaku pilot and watch this ms coming for you.
In 8th ms team they score a kill with a beam rifle by way of one of the team laying on top of the rifle in order to line up the shot. I think that's about as close as we'll get
Yes, because limited operating time on NTD, the SOP for Jestas is to escort RX-0 Unicorn and do it's job behind the screen (SpecOps - sabotage, silent raid, etc), so Unicorn can confront any newtype enemy directly
Looks more like a slightly elongated suppressed UMP without the foldable stock. And some cheap Chinese reflex sight. I love this MS design as a rule. But the primary weapon's appearance is a bit primitive looking... especially how far along in it's current UC
This unit might be better than the Narrative? If it has 90% the performance of Nu Gundam... The Narrative was just a prototype for the Nu Gundam. I suppose that the most important thing about the Narrative wasn't just performance but it's psychoframe cockpit.
What made the Nu special wasn't its raw performance and stats, but rather the fact that it was custom made to fit Amuro's fighting style, and of course the psychoframe and funnels.
9/10 that it is Hajime Katoki. Since he was the lead mech designer of Unicorn for the novel and some of the anime. However, there were other designers involved in the production of the anime version from Junya Ishigaki, Nobuhiko Genba, Yoshinori Sayana, and company so it’s possible they could be involvement in the Jesta’s design...
That's kinda crazy....the heaviest battlemechs from battletech were 100 tons and typically half the size of most mobile suits in general. The Marauder is a 75 ton heavy mech and stands no more than 12 meters...lol
Hello, I just picked up the Gunpla version that you show in the upper left corner of your video at 1:36. I was disappointed that the pictures on the box do not match the color schemes on the sprues. The sprues are actually only 3 different colors whereas the picture on the box shows various dark and light grey color schemes with white and yellow highlights. Some of the pictures of this mobile suit earlier in this video are more in line with whats in the box but I just wish Bandai didn't pull the bait and switch on me. Maybe it's just my fault I can't read Japanese.
RHD Outdoors to be fair, that version is a high grade (or hg) from about a decade ago, so you’ll need to put in work to make it completely color accurate. Whereas with the master grade (mg) version right underneath it, you’ll get better details and color separation
I’d choose to pilot a Jesta over a Gundam any day.

No, seriously. Who doesnt love the Jesta?
Those Sleeves and Zeon Remnants sure don't

I actually ordered this as my first gunpla, as soon as I saw it I loved its spec ops esche design
The mg?
It has a simple build and yet it has that complex black ops design.
it going to be my first kit to i bought two of them so i can paint one is a desert colors

Well of course no one likes being kicked into the ocean from a couple thousand feet in the air

Hope those vets got jesta tbh
