Ok. I need to be able to come thru and let y'all know a few things you're leaving out or that you don't seem to have thought on doing. And you're so low on time.
My Mother's mother, Opella Pauline Boydston Smith, Sister Pat, lives in the yellow brick house just past the school towards the crossing, opposite side of the road. Huge yard, can't miss it.
She's 101. Will be 102 June 15, but she's failing. The church building closest to you, her father built, although Macedonia Progressive Primitive Baptist, on hwy 75 on the left is a far different building.
She and some others have kept the history, the records, the families, The Bibles that are still considered to be legal documents in Alabama.
We're all kin one way or another, and they'd all be shamed to not be allowed to help. They just don't know or realize what you're asking for/doing exactly lol.
EVERYONE WAS BAPTIZED THERE FOR A LONG LONG TIME. Nanny was, Nadine (Aunt Zula's daughter, she's been wanting to come see the place. Her husband is one of the Directors of Chattanooga airport. He's sweet).
You've not asked the families, and have you not ever heard Sacred Harp music? Four note, they call it. On the movie COLD MOUNTAIN, in the church singing, almost all the actual singers are from local. Ricky Harcrow's wife Susan was and at least a couple of the Hammonds, (Rodney is a preacher). Ricky was pastor at Macedonia before he went into politics lol. He's a good heart.
You don't know the Ivey's, or likely any of the McCurdy's, there's the Wooten's, Welden's and well, you just don't know who and how, but it's not your fault. You're not Mountain and we're a bit odd ourselves.

No not just one I agree and was wondering why someone did not mention before about idol worship.
Here is the definition of idol ....
an object of extreme devotion.
You may hate me and I don't care I just glad I was never associated with the universal church that has idol worship.
I was saved in 1970 just before my 9th birthday. I have been raised in charismatic churches but the Lord showed me through scripture that did not line up with the Bible.
John said he had a dream that God told him to build this chapel. This statement is just how not to follow. The Lord says in Proverbs 3 the following....
Proverbs 3:5-8 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
You should in my opinion which you will reject, should have started like men like Sheffey (movie from Bob Jones I think)
Circuit preacher then the people will come and ask for the building.
I moved to Idaho just for the fellowship of and teaching of one of the best churches in the USA. Our church grew out of necessity and not BANK loans or BEGGING on RUclips or Facebook.
We have one of the largest men's prayer group in the world.
Our pastor does not make building decisions on a DREAM.
Does he have vision for our valley YES. He is also a cancer survivor.
I will say this in close. Be careful it does sound like idol worship.
You have already gone to far obviously but you can still SEEK the Lord's Advice or go on your direction (which I was a gambler you will reject all this and call me a NUTTER).

Please look at an authentic sounding bell that can play hymns as well as bell sounds for regular things like pre 😊 service notices and Angelis. You can hang nice sound absorbers from the ceiling. They have cool lighting in them.

In another life I was an acoustic contractor. With all surfaces being hard, your echo will only get worse. The key is to knock the sound down on two surfaces-floor/ceiling, floor/wall, ceiling/wall etc. I know it’s a pain to keep clean, but hopefully you’re considering carpeting for the floor. Then maybe some sound absorbing panels elsewhere. Hope my donation helps relieve some of your end of construction stress! Oceans of blessings to you both.

Are you thinking the baptismal tub will be permanent? Personally, I think it would be better to get something that could be set up and taken down as needed, but leave the deck for informal worship or watching the sun set over the beautiful Reflecion Pool.

Need to consider offsetting the Pulpit from the center. As you can see in the video, light coming in the door behind the speaker will completely wash out even being able to tell who they are, plus giving everyone in the audience eye strain staring into the outside light.
