The truth is coming out! The picture of that BEAST has been sent to all four corners of the world and has been believed!! Maccabees 3:48!! Prophecy fulfilled. Christs depiction is in the Book. But people don't read for themselves!!
No one considered him a deity. This is historically inaccurate. There are depictions of Jesus Christ from all over Christendom that predate this man’s life by over 1000 years. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church, which is reputed to have the Ark of the Covenant, has many beautiful ancient depictions, of Jesus Christ. In any case, we do not now how he looked other than he was bearded and taller than usual.
@@myrtle1234 I worded that slightly wrong. They considered him and his father as the "closest" thing to a deity. But, they chose Cesare as a model for JC. Italian and Spanish painters more than likely started the trend
2 artists were competing for a portrait of Christ, Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci - both homosexuals. Da Vinci won and painted Christ in the image of Cesare Borgia whom he was obsessed as a love interest.
Lol they considered him very handsome. Not as a deity. However artists altered the face in the paintings as they claimed Cesare looked too evil. So the images of Jesus we have are altered versions of Cesare. He was the model for Jesus or the inspiration but we have a more soft and gentler looking Jesus.
The same thing with the Church of England. The positions in the church are not usually given to the most pious and deserving but to the second or third sons of the upper class.

It's kinda funny that they made Machiavelli in the game Assassin's Creed Brotherhood a sleeper agent. Regular banker in the day, Assassin in the night.
Wow very nice video bro please keep it up . Tour work in this video is admirable
Thank you so much !!
Sinister, violent narcissist....but so interesting.
I enjoyed listening to your narration, good job.
Fascinating to learn and enjoyable to listen to.
Another great vid 🤗
Fascinating family. Love the showtime series on Netflix.
Hello from Trinidad and Tobago Caribbean 🇹🇹 big up!!!!
Papacy and perpetual heinous crimes and sinful conduct, fits like a glove.
Absolutely true
Came here from Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood 😂😂 who else did? This story is very fascinating. In AC Brotherhood, the Borgia are the evil enemies that are taking over Rome and Italy, but Ezio Auditore, an assassin that lives in secrecy, kills him in the end.
You've failed a history class am guessing 😂
Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I love the information in this video but I love the way Cesare is portrayed in the showtime series The Borgias its definitely a romanticized version of history.
At 1:00, that is Mary Boleyn, Anne Boleyn's sister. She has nothing to do with the story of the Borgias.
Showtime did a pretty good job with their 3 seasons of The Borgias. Sadly the show stopped before they could culminate the story. Jeremy Irons was in it.
I read a book years ago I think it was called history of the Mafia or something but this reminds me of the story
Geoffrey and Sancha. I can hear the white walkers coming!
Where he got the names from
He was a very vile and twisted individual!! His actions literally make me nauseous to my stomach 🤢🤢 WOW!!! Off topic amazing video and thank you so much for your wonderful content!!!
Dude be wearin' them crucifixes, walkin' aroun' Italy, eatin' shiploads o' garlic...
That's probably why you're feelin' sick!

Like the Art of AC Brootherhood and The Borgias Cesare in one.
There is an AMAZINGLY DONE series “The Borgias” that was on Showtime I think… you can among it anywhere online… it’s rated Tv-MA tho.. nudity, sex, violence , suicide, etc.. for adults
This is on Netflix,
If showtime had continued that series it would have been huge. There was so much history to go around and make a remarkable series but of course Showtime had to cancel it!
That was an Amazing show TYVM !
Thank you so much for watching!
@@historyprofiles Thanx 4 your good & interesting cases 🙂 History is one of my 3 favvo topic 🙂 Looking 4-ward to your next video already 😊
Thankyou. I read somewhere that Cesare was painted as Christ by a lover, either Leonardo or Michaelangelo
The truth is coming out! The picture of that BEAST has been sent to all four corners of the world and has been believed!! Maccabees 3:48!! Prophecy fulfilled. Christs depiction is in the Book. But people don't read for themselves!!
When you’re the son or daughter of a powerful leader of the Catholic Church. There’s an old saying, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
shout out to the art in the thumbnail thats just francois arnaud put in the assassins creed version of cesare's costume. it actually looks really cool
Was that a photo of Mary Boleyn??
Yes oddly enough…
Superb work, as always!! Thankx for the video!!
Hi Ollie, Great narration. It is easy to think he did kill his brother. What a disgusting corrupt lot!!!!
Will listen again. Thank you. 👏👌🍁🍀🌼🌸
The artists of the time considered Cesare the closest thing to a deity. They used him as inspiration of their depictions of Jesus Christ
Yep. His dad made them take down all of Jesus’s original paintings and change it in the likelihood of Caesar.
Excellent, as ever! Thank you Ollie. 🖖
Super interesting! Thank you so much for an entertaining and highly informative episode. Cheers!
The same thing with the Church of England. The positions in the church are not usually given to the most pious and deserving but to the second or third sons of the upper class.
I remember killing this crazy family in Assassin Creed...good times.
😂 😂 need to play it

We have the series The Borgias, it was very interesting, this family was not holy by any means
"You cannot kill me. NO MAN CAN MURDER ME!!!"
“Requiescat in pace”
"Then I leave you in the hands of fate!"
Thanks a lot! It was really interesting to learn more about this family
Lovely video, well put together. But the pic at 1:00 isn't Vanozza
Right. I think it's Mary Boleyn?
Wasnt the image of jesus made after this guy?
No, that's a modern myth
Yes, it most definitely was Pope Alexander VI who commissioned it! And since that day the whole world has believed that this BEAST is what Christ looked like even though the book of revelation says otherwise!
I watch this video everyday, I need more from 15th century Rome from you 👀🤣

As someone who watched and really enjoyed the series they made of this…. I am shocked to see how much the actor they chose to play Cesare looks like the actual person depicted here!
Edit: *Cesare
That'd because that is fan art from for the series depiction of him... 🤦♀️
Syphilis handed out its own punishment ...years ago 1475~76...long time ago...15th century
Another great video 👍
Thank you for watching nizzy!!

He's the image they used as Jesus Christ

This image is used the most
@@myrtle1234 yes, but the main image of Jesus is a softer looking version of Cesare. Cesare was considered very handsome before the syphilis and was used as a model for Jesus. Though the artists would all claim he looked too evil and so had to alter the facial structure.
@@myrtle1234That's a lie in the book of revelation it tells you his description. The Ethiopian church didn't force that picture of the BEAST to all four corners of the earth! They did it for a reason....SUPREMACY!
Very interesting...thank you.
I didnt knew his death was that gruesome. Makes me think karma really does exist.
That thumbnail looks like it is based on Francois Arnaud, an actor who played Cesare on Showtime's series The Borgias. Cool!
YES! I’m happy I was not the only one who saw that.
I thought that was an actual old painting, showing how much the actor resembles the real person, but…. i have no idea 🤣
But the resemblance is uncanny. And the series was awesome.
At 00:54 when they mention Cesare Borgia mistress the painting they use is one of Marie Boleyn(Anne Boleyn sister), who like her sibling was mistress of Henry VIII of England.
Dang Ollie, you rock! Borgia's were evil.
You rock!! Thank you for watching !

Lol, a lot of people are not going to get that comment. A brilliant comment at that.
I don’t think corruption exists in a vacuum. Most people, given free reign, will do whatever they can get away with doing. To avoid any or all of the 7 Deadlies requires discipline; & “a corrupt people is not responsive to virtuous leadership.”-Gary Wills... & vice-versa, as to virtuous people.
Problem with this people from history, is that I don’t know where the stories came from. Accusations of incest always makes me suspicious.
Same! Controversial historical people are always plagued with (mostly) false rumours
