We at Mebor present our new biggest, strongest and fastest band saw for large logs, the HTZ 1400 SP EXTREME 19. .The newest machine from our Extreme Band Saws® series can cut logs up to 1.9 m (75'') in diameter.
Mebor R&D made entirely new designs of the entire construction, bringing many new benefits for customers wanting to cut large logs fast, while reaching high output and yield.
Reliability and precision is guaranteed by the strength of construction -- the weight of 27 tons speaks for itself. For maximum speed we have redesigned the lifting and lowering system of the blade, increased the feeding speed and installed a large hydraulic pump.
The automatic control synchronises all functions and makes everything run efficiently, while giving the operator time to focus on the wood and output itself.

On the Isle of Wight we have a band saw about this size, it's Belgian, dates from the 1930's and is handrolic. When I get the chance I'll make a video of it. Pete on the Isle of Wight.

this is a beautiful machine. Does anyone know someone that could afford such a piece of equipment? I have 3 pieces of Acacia that are 18 feet long, 58" wide and 6 inches thick Id love to make them 6 pieces.

Matt Cremona did okay at way under 4000 pounds vs 52,000. A bit slower but way more affordable and almost equal capacity

it's too slow. a big band saw and caraige is much faster,plus you can cut for hrade
