I'm just learning and feel much more comfortable with the index finger, but most every instructor online is using the middle finger! Watching your technique makes me confident that I'm doing the right thing for me.
I played with my middle for many years, and then decided I should be playing with my index. Spent a lot of time and effort making the switch, and discovered that it doesn't matter 🤣 No effect at all, so use whatever you're comfortable with!
Ty for the 30 day challenge! Looking forward to it. Im still getting hung up on the thumb motion. I usually pluck the string with my thumb. Not a good idea. Thumb gets sore. I will keep working on it!
