American Cruise Lines, aren't they the parent company of Pearl Seas? My sister and I enjoyed superb cruises in the Pearl Mist. Cuba, and Toronto to Portland thru the St Lawrence seaway.
AS the summers become hotter and hotter American Cruise Line will have to start putting swimming pools on their sun decks! Luxury River Ships already offer this!
I’ve never wanted to take a cruise; any kind of cruise. I got roped into taking a Chattanooga to Nashville, via Alabama/Kentucky, “9 days, 8 night” because someone else had to drop out. First off, the first day of 9 is actually in the hotel the day before the cruise starts. Second, a lock closed on the river, and we now have to take a bus from Chattanooga to Florence AL to get on the boat. At that location, we get to stay docked for two nights, plus the normally scheduled two nights in Nashville, which brings the total number of nights the ship isn’t moving to 5 out 8. Never again, no thank you.
Sounds like you should have gone with your first instinct. Cruising is not for everyone although the experience on American rivers is vastly different than ocean or even river cruises in Europe.

They are thanks for the reminder must look to see which one of our experts has sailed with them.
Chris and Tracy said that August-September is the driest time in the Pacific Northwest. It's actually more like June-September, reliably dry.
Thanks for the update.
Good to know.
Tracy is lucky to have Chris there to finish her sentences for her.

Another great itinerary that they do.
Would be cool if they docked in Vancouver to see the Fort site and Officers Row.
