I made a song. I did put all my soul into it. It made me cry. Some people did listen to it. I got a bit feedback. Not much at all. Maybe 30 plays? I got a phonecall. A guy i know was crying on the phone and told me he and his wife did listen to it for 3 times. It really went to,the feels for them. I almost cried when i heard that emotional phonecall. I love to,quote Moby. ‘Make music for your friends’ - works for me. And even if not one song will get 500 plays, i ll keep doing it. For me and my friends.

thanks man, I completely resonate with this. I've been unemployed for half a year now, but either way I'm having a routine, trying to study things that interest me to prepare for interviews and I'm actually learning a lot of things I wasn't able to understand while I was actually working, but when my friends ask me how is my job search going I feel uncomfortable because I haven't landed a job yet and for some reason I feel the need to feel 'bad' about it, but deep down I know I'm investing in myself and doing efforts that usually people don't see valuable, but that shouldn't really have an impact on my state of mind ✨

The authenticity here is incredible. ❤ the critic within can sabotage many things and create setbacks. Its unconscious. Believe me, I know. The main solution to this, for me, is to just know that I'm good and affirm the confidence within. It's bulding boundaries whic is vital.

The external and internal pressure associated with every decision in modern life is causing people to miss all of it. We seem to be living in a perpetual state of “one day” my life will be XYZ. Mostly just feel fear, doubt, anxiety, and stress. Get to the end of the work week exhausted. Just managed to feed myself usually. Spend all weekend getting my head on straight wading through addictions and breakdowns(practically have eaten my Rosary with spit and tears at this point) so I still go to work and then do it all again. What is long term health? What the heck is saving money? What is getting ahead? That glimmer of a thought between all the anxiety, worry, and breakdowns? Scramble to keep my clothes clean, not a trashed home. Just in a dream... Whatever man, I sometimes feel I may be losing my mind. I just want to feel normal. I doubt I'm the only one in this state. Maybe I'll just look at the clouds.
F external validation. Make good food, make fun videos, sit on a table around a bunch of flowers. That's enough.probably. Life is all about the hope, the discovery, the following your heart wherever it chooses to go. That's what I think Alan Watts said anyway. Idk. But F the views man. Mainstream Western culture has its head so far up it's own but with productivity over well-being that it's an eyesore at this point.
