Did you just go high level input from the door speaker to the Amp? If so you will have bass roll-off. If you know how to use Forscan. You can turn the 4 door speaker leads and the factory sub lead behind the c panel into 4 volt pre-amp outputs and just solder RCAs on to them. gives you a level EQ from the factory and no bass roll-off
Yeah I used a pac lp-4 for a high level input converter. He’s upgrading to the audio control lc7 next you think we need to use those steps for the audio control piece?
@@nxtleveltv5948 AC 7i or even a 2i which I used first works fine to fix the bass roll-off. But does nothing to improve the sound of the factory radio. Using Forscan is cheap for the Dongle and a year subscription. And it really does improve the overall sound quality. I'm now shopping for a DSP to get even better sound and time alignment.
Good video man. I have a question I’m installing a system on my 2015 f150 with Sony sound system. I want to keep my factory radio but was wondering what wires I need to tap in to hook up an lc2? Thanks in advance
Ima have to look up the color of the wires you need to tap in but i can tell you a quick location for them if you dont want to remove the radio. Behind the seat beat on those pillars driver and passenger side you can tap into the wires right there for the rear speakers.
Nice video bro good explanation I’m researching right now for my f150
Nice clean work bruh 🔥🔥🔥
Preciate that kev....🔥🔥
