What lack of promotions are we talking about? The album literally had 7 music videos, they've been on music shows, they've sold more than 300k album within the first week. What should their management be to blame for? They have good music, good promotions, they still sell really well, what do you want more from them? The Itzy "downfall" isn't actually a real thing, it's something people made up to try and correlate their natural growth away from the charts with the Sneakers disappointment. RUclips comments and tweets don't reflect the reality of their success. People try to convince themselves that they're flopping and lost all popularity and that's just not the case. They're a 5 years old group, they were really popular early on, it's normal that they can't compete with the current top girl groups like IVE and NewJeans. And it's ok. Nowadays, competing with IVE, NewJeans, aespa or IDLE for popularity and charts is simply harder than competing with like 2019 Everglow and Loona. And tbh I don't think the Sneakers "controversy" is really at fault, it just happened while they were already "losing" the general public. And the Sneakers album sold really well so it's not like it was a flop (it was their highest 1st week saled ever at the time). Also if the concept change was the problem, then they would've gained back their popularity and charting power with Untouchable, since it's everything people wanted them to do. Also, losing general public appreciation is kind of the natural thing for groups that were popular early on. I liked Dalla dalla and Icy, but lately I lost interest in Itzy. From the new groups I like Aespa, Ive and Babymonster much better.
