Wow. I'm really suprised Scissors didn't win anything. For sure it was gonna be a BIG MAN SWEEP but damn. I guess tricolor really ruined team scissors since I heard defending in that mode is a lot harder than attacking. Makes me wonder how the future splatfests will play out then. I also thought that tricolor mode was going to have it's own tally but I guess it doesn't?? Very strange. Maybe Nintendo needs to balance out tricolor a bit better because it wasn't even close for Scissors even though I was struggling against them in regular battles. We'll see though.

I'm glad team paper at least stood their ground. My final rank was Paper Ruler +6. I played over 9 hours of the splatfest and had to take a 2 hour break. Still proud of my performance. (Even though I absolutely choked during the 4 100X encounters I had.) I even got a 333x battle against scissors but we lost that too. But this was just a demo and there was nothing to gain. If this were the actual game, I would have a breakdown as sea snails will be on the line
omg wow you got a 333x battle?? must've been intense I only got 1 100x battle at the beginning and played for almost 9 hours.
@@Coldeggman bro you dont understand. I played for 9 and a half hours and my final rank was Rock Ruler +6 and only got a few 10x’s. I’m honestly jealous of people that say ‘I only got an 100x’ because for me(who barely gets any) its like ‘WDYM YOU ONLY GOT ONE I GOT NONE 😭😭😭’
I got like 900000 clout because I got 3 100x battles and even though I suck I some how won (I just read the second reply I feel bad man sry)

i am SO glad i chose a team not for the idol but for the team itself. cant believe we won
I always chose the topic that I like more and for this one it was rly easy to chose for me, because I like Shiver the most and also I use rock the most when I play ^^
But Scissor is peak , best move imo
YES, We may have gotten 2nd place but we still beat those "Big Man Bros." Way to go Team Paper!

I guess playing for around 9-10 hours of the fest paid off!
And now I know why only 1/4th of my Tri-color games were actually tri-colors.
I still don't understand how Paper managed to get the pro clout by only having 17% popularity while Scissors had 40%.
Either way I still had fun with splatoon 3 and can't wait for future splatfest!
What's weird is that in some regions it appears that Scissors got the Pro Clout reward...

u can clearly see why splatoon 3 is chaos themed they don’t care about the rules and actually congrats all teams
My first splatfest and we lost hard! Oh well, can’t wait for the full game!
Here in europe team rock (my team) also won!
Voting was 45,44% for Rock (I was soo surprised that scissors didn't have the most votes), paper got 19,59% (I actually guessed that Paper would have like only 20% of the votes) and scissors got 34,95%.
On "open" rock won with 37,71% , 30,37% for paper and 31,90% for scissors.
On "pro" paper won with 33,51% against scissors with 33,46% (it wasn't even 1% difference between all the teams on that one which is crazy...) and rock got 33,01% (only half a percent prevented rock from winning 3/3 xD)
In my first round we had a disconnect and my second round was a 100x battle we won! I won all 3 of my 100x battles and some 10x ones i guess maybe 5 or so? Also I played from 1pm until the splatfest ended, i guess I made only a one hour break in between to food something and also set up my Splatoon oled switch that had just arrived then, so I continued the splatfest on the oled ^^ I guess I'll main the splatana in Splatoon 3, because I rly loved to play that weapon, It's soo perfect for my place stlye ^^
Oh, I forgot the first half. Scissors also won there with 34,66%, rock got 33,20% and paper 32,13%
I was team scissors, and I thought TriColor was difficult, but bot too much so personally. But I've been playing splatoon 2 for years, so maybe it's a lot of relative newcomers saying it was impossible for scissors to pull a win. Bc I definitely think I won more tricolor than I lost. Had a lot of fun tho and absolutely can't wait for the game to come out
tricolour must count as part of the Open scores i guess, i was on scissors and i couldn’t choose to play tricolour it would just happen sometimes when playing on Open

i was on team scissors and to say the least tri-color was interesting.. it was fun and experimental yes but also unbalanced from the defender pov we had to watch both teams at all times and keep them under surveillance at all angles. The moment any of the attacking teams got an ultra signal it was gg for us scissors had to come in 1st to win a tri-color and while we did win some, even if we came in second the other two teams get major pointage over us lol idk but i hope this gets balanced better in future splatfests cause a LOT of scissors ppl are saying we had a rough time XD
so we basically had to defend the signal while keeping the others in check and inking their turf XD
I was on team rock and out of all the tri-color ones I played, I guess only ones or twice scissors won, also we and team paper got rly good spawn points, because sometimes it was enough to paint the ur spawn point area and/or like 15sek before the round ends I just run to the middle with the hammer and my mate just paints. Also the signals rly helped us and paper to win, like the only rounds we lost were because scissors got all of the signals.
@@cechols1181 i couldnt win on team rock even with painting the whole turf. I had to go in and get the signal because team scissor kept coming to / inking our side (LIKE WHY>:()

@@ara8813 actually we on team scissors can't grab the signal believe me, i went up to it during like my first match and was like how do i grab this?? also big man doesnt ever say anything to us unlike the attacking teams when they get a signal.

Are Splatfests actually region locked again????????????????????
You can chose the region where you want to play in, I guess you can change it at anytime you want later when Splatoon 3 is out
@@ara8813 I knew that, it just hadn't occured to me that the results would be region based as well. That's kinda... odd.
Yeah I thought they would merge all the regions together for 1 final results but I guess not. Funny that everytime they do seperated region results for the same splatfest the same team still wins anyway (Pokemon splatfests blue wins all 3, Mayo VS Ketchup 2017 Mayo wins all 3, and this)
@@Coldeggman Y'know, I was really looking forward to finally have global splatfests... Guess we're just gonna have to live with it now.
@@sherbertshortkake6649 I'm sure they'll be gloabl splatfests it's just they didn't do it with the demo which I guess makes sense since it was only 12 hours and they wanted each region to play at a good time.
I don't like big man, it's like the people of splatoon 3 got lazy and just made a manta ray as the third idol along with Shiver *my favorite* and Frye
