You're still helping people replace their toilet water valve. The directions was not too much help, but thanks to RUclips and you posting this video saved me some time and money. Thanks
Man.....you need a dang tripod. I have motion sickness trying to follow this. Thanks for the video, but please save everyone's eyes in the future. Haha.
Thank you for this. The instructions that came with my valve were less than clear, the diagrams didn’t match up and I was missing a screw. With your help, I spent more time cleaning than I had to spend repairing. So far, so good, and my toilet even flushed quieter now.
Thanks to this video, my shitter is no longer full...of leaks. The only thing I could add to the information in the video is that applying a bit of rubber conditioner to the rubber seal under the plastic sliding gate on the flush valve while the toilet is upside down resolved the issue that I had with that valve sticking slightly open. Now a little water is sitting on top of that sliding gate and the resulting water seal keeps the stink down nicely.
Appreciated, worked great. The problem I had with mine is that it no longer triggered the water release, but was stuck open enough that it constantly leaked water. I'd have to shut my water supply off when I left or at night to prevent overflow What I noticed when I took the plate off was that the metal arm was cocked and not sitting in the lever right. That was probably the cause of the issue, not the part, though the water flow is much stronger now, so it was worth doing. Also worth noting, the new seal that came with the kit did not fit, so I had to use the original.
Started taking out the outer toilet. Still full of leftover remnants, before realizing I could just take off that top peice. Then I found it it was the T connector behind it that was leaking >.
Thank you greatly couldn't figure out how to get that top cover off and it was that 1 expensive screw way back in there you showed. Ordered my new valve and replacing when it gets here. $30 Amaz. 2-day shipping
I was struggling with this, too. Here's what worked for me (from the Thetford site): With the lid & toilet seat in the upright position, hold on to the lower hinges with both hands and push toward the back wall. They should slide right off with a moderate amount of force.
Learn how to hold a camera, learn proper lighting, don't video the mundane actions such as waiting on you to find a screwdriver, unbolt or unscrew a bolt. very simple.
You know what you’re doing on the tank but one of the worst videos I’ve seen from a quality point. Take the tank out of the RV to good light and have someone else hold the camera please.

Some folks complaining about your cinematography skills, but still, 22,000 views is a lot of fans.
You helped me. But i kept telling you to let me see the part and i need more light. Use your headlamp.you howerever were great!!!

Tim your a life saver I was about ready to throw mine out the damn door I could not get that damn clamp back on the arm of the new WV thx brother
I thank you for posting these instructions here. Your video helped me repair my Aquq Magic iv valve easily and in less than an hour. Awesome!

Thank you for this video. I successfully took mine apart and got the water valve out. It was very easy, thanks to your video.
I would kill to have that much clearance around an RV toilet to work on it!
For sure. I'm using a flashlight and mirror to work on mine. Can barely get my hands behind it.

I haven't had to take the seat off. Thank God! New seal fit mine. But they are rubber so the old one should work just fine.
Thanks for the video but I need to replace the seat to mine so how do you do this ???
Hallo....can you tell me how remove the toilet seat? Thank U 😉
Only comment, take the toilet out in the sun and put it on a tripod or something so we can see. Otherwise, great instruction!
Did you reuse your closet flange gasket? Did you notice that the new flange gasket was different from the new one? I need to find the original one.
How does the seat and cover come off as I'm struggling with trying to remove it to replace?

O btw you forgot to put the new plunger in lol
I'm seasick.

Dude, you need to work on your filming skills before doing another How-To-Video
