I like the accuracy!! Even at 1.11 when the bass plays the same wrong note that Paul played on the original recording: -B instead of C#. These days, it would be re-taken, but on the one day they recorded the whole album, they were restricted for time and it was passed off! Well done guys!
To give the final mix just a slightly more nostalgic feel....a tiny bit of reverb on the whole track (before the compressor)....and a slight pitch variation effect on the main output too - so subtle that you can only feel it, and not tell it's occurring. But really sweet what y'all are doing. Kick and snare sound are really golden....
This is awesome, you guys play these songs almost to a tee. I am a huge Beatles fan, and have heard all the little details in the song. I know this is being very nitpicky but I believe John's rhythm plays the tiny riff just before the main song comes in. Just a little thing, nothing much, this is still a great recreation
Kingofrock42 - Its hard to tell because John wrote the song but George plays and sings lead. They are both on J160s so the tone is the same. What makes you think it's John vs George?
I believe it's John not George because John normally would play his J160E with an acoustic sound, whilst George's guitar had a more electric sound on the song. I heard this when I was listening (or investigating) Beatles songs on spotify by switching between earphones. In the right ear near the beginning, the acoustic guitar (John) plays tiny riff before the main song comes in. In the left ear, you hear the same riff on a more electric sounding guitar. But, that's just what I've heard.
The J160E has a p90 single coil pickup mounted at the bridge position. Look closely at the guitar bridge right before the neck you can see it. They are essentially electro-acoustic. They used mic and the pickups on the original tracks.

Ably House, In this song in the original version the guitar is a bit out of tune, I intentionally tuned the guitar wrong while listening to the song until I reached the perfect pitch and made it sound very similar to the original, with your version and the guitar like me. said before, it sounds the same as the album version

I think that the descending chords G#mi, Gmi, F#mi are not accurate like this. These should be 7th chords. Played as a barre chords as you do, but without the pinky.
I believe they did actually but the recordings are rare. There is a BBC version that is much faster than the studio tempo. My reasoning would be that most of the filmed performances are only 20-30m long. Not enough time to squeeze in Do You Want To Know A Secret
I never knew how groovy the bass was in this...
It’s really fun to play when you learn it on bass. Perfect bass part for this song.
the bass in this song is like im happy just to dance with you
I have never seen a group so accurately portray the Beatles playing style. Absolutely AMAZING. Keep it up
I think they’re all him lol

Paul’s bass line is so beautiful I’m on the verge of tears
Very nice thanks.

Nice catch.
Well technically it’s not that wrong since it is in the Key of E.
Yes , but it’s on the C#m chord BEFORE the B chord
My all time favorite
Heck yes, all Beatles songs were phenomenal but this is one of my faves. Nice job brother!
YES George sang this song Very well 😊
Cool
Great mix! Every instrument sounds good! 😁👍🏼👌🏼

Well done! Awesome bass player. This 1964 song brings back good memories
Can you do a cover of Hey Bulldog?
*please*
We have many songs started. Planning another late period session. Rooftop and such, I think Bulldog will fit in the mix!

I have always loved this song.
Awesome
😎🎸🎤 😎🎸 😎🎸 😎🥁
This is great
This makes me smile everytime i opened this video
Love the bass
You should do a instrument collection vid showing all the instruments you use in your different vids
That would be cool! I wouldn't be able to show the Rick 325, Rick 12string, sunburst or natural Casino. I borrowed those 4 guitars for the videos.
Still without those, with the content you put out, you won’t disappoint us 👍🏻
My 4th fav Beatles song
Magnificent
Sounds amazing

This is totally cool!!! Well done
amazing!! this IS my favorite George Harrison song and you’ve mastered it!
George on vocal only
I know, saying George Harrison song doesn’t mean that George Harrison wrote it, he might as well sang it, doesn’t it?
Anonymous No, saying a George Harrison song means he wrote it
excelente!!!!
Awesome!
Super 😃
FANTASTIC! MAGNIFICENT RENDITION!!!
WOW!!!😍😍😍😍
Have a good time playing with Classical Mystery Tour Neil, good luck and your gonna do great
The bass sounds nice.
Perfect!
Can’t believe there were only acoustic guitars used on this track. How that tone was acquired👌🏼

How do you guys not have 1 million subscribers yet?!? 🤔
Well Paul McCartney only has 400k so we can't be too upset about it. But thanks!
@@AblyHouse oh well, the more you know! But you're welcome, keep these amazing covers coming! 😄
This guy is seriously underrated
Can you guys please cover "Do you want to know a secret"? It s my favorit song1
Great vid! I always figured George used his Duo Jet, and maybe John used his J-160E? I could be wrong though

It's All Too Much?
I think,that boys can all ))
What guitar and amp settings did he use for the lead acoustic, sounds almost like their rickenbackers kinda cool
ups de ups.
Oh yea, now that's what I''m talkin' bout.
And some people say McCartney wasn't the best rock bassist?
Just look at what he was doing in 1963.

Always thought George played his Duo Jet on this

A bit flat is usually better than sharp. They mostly tuned by ear either to each other or by harmonica/piano
Hey @ablyhouse, what size pick does Neil use?

onderov - that is correct! I’ll fix it some time. I also improved some other things about it
Methinks "They" would have approved..!
underrated bass
Do any of you ever wonder why they never did this song live
I believe they did actually but the recordings are rare. There is a BBC version that is much faster than the studio tempo. My reasoning would be that most of the filmed performances are only 20-30m long. Not enough time to squeeze in Do You Want To Know A Secret

Type of the acoustic guitars?
Epiphone EJ-160E John Lennon
what is the chord of the 0:25???
therotiv4 C#m
1 2 3 4
I heard that George used the country gentleman on this song
He never had one until the Please Please Me session ended.
He first used it on She Loves You
1963 before 1964 after 1965!and 1966
Whats the model of your acoustic guitar sir?
That's the Epiphone J160, John Lennon signature. It's a cheap replica, I do not recommend it unless you are on a tight budget
For difference?
"Keep your secret,secret..."and keep your cigarette in your pocket;.."
Ok
