Thank you for another wonderful recipe. Instead of fresh oranges, I use orange juice and Korean citron jam. Korean citron jam makes the orange flavor stronger and more complex with its slightly bitter peel in it. Since 50% of the citron jam is sugar, you will need to adjust the sugar quantity in the recipe accordingly. Korean citron jam is wonderful for making sweet tea, hot or cold. You won't find a jar of Korean citron jam wasted.

What kind of oil do you use? I've looked at several of your wonderful recipes, but I always see oil, but not what kind? Can you tell me what oil you used here? Thank you so much!

American Chinese food is like New York style pizza. Just because it's not traditional, it doesn't mean that it's not authentic.
Even within china each regions has it's own recipes.

Where did you get your stainless steel wok? I saw links in the video description but they seem to be only for a non-stick wok and carbon-steel wok, both of which I have already. My local 99 Ranch Market does not have stainless steel woks (I go to the only one in Oregon, which is unfortunately not affiliated with other 99 Ranch Markets-- case in point, my 99 Ranch Market loyalty card that I used in California does NOT work here in Oregon).

    Thanks!
So, I can do the first frying and wait -- maybe a couple of hours - for the second frying ? This will be extremely helpful in setting up a dinner...
    Please let us know

How very lucky you are to have your parents. He is a very sweet man. Thank you for the recipe, I will certainly try it. If I may give you a hint, when you post a recipe, please make a « PRINT RECIPE » available. It is much easier to copy and you don’t get all the advertising with it and have to edit all before getting it with just the recipe. Thank you so much!
