Honestly this version of the game has value for the sole reason that if you grew up with Minecraft and want a nostalgic look back at what Minecraft was like a few years ago, this version is perfect.
Mojang have already announced that the most recent update for the game was the final update which is unfortunate but understandable.
3:37 actually, the reason it's a "New" system exclusive is not due to the buttons/C-Stick. The reason is because the "New" systems have a beefier CPU, twice the RAM, significantly more VRAM, and several other performance boosts when compared to the original 3DS systems. They needed that extra power in order to get the game functioning well.

This version of Minecraft was the one where I tried doing a full survival world for the first time ever
I got a really nice seed and actually made a ton of progress on my base, but then somehow the data for all my world's got glitched and ended up deleted so I had to start a new one
I haven't been able to play it for, like, one and a half years now because my PSP-1000 stick fell off but last week I got a replacement so I've been playing it again a lot
I’ve actually had a go on this and it’s actually quite good
Fun fact: the new 3ds runs Minecraft better than my laptop

I love it on 3ds, 3ds is the best handheld gaming device. I have switch but play 90% on my 3ds.

Agreed. They need to make another (more powerful) handheld system. The switch is cool and all but, I'll never stop loving how pocketable it was. I will also always prefer dual screens over single screens. Dual screens let you have menu's and such on the lower one, which allows you to do what you need without having to stop your gameplay.
@@aiphen2572 yea I have a switch and to be honest I like the 3DS more because of the dual screens and as well as the Wii U with how you can use the gamepad and the tv
The one thing I don't like about this game is that it takes room on the SD card
@Mike2dice no mincraft 3ds has to save file on the SD card while most games save it to the carttrage

It is a nice version of the game, dual screens really work wonders in Minecraft. Unfortunately but also expectedly it is very outdated tho.
