I have the 2ds xl but I really like the new 3sd better but I just don’t like how it doesn’t close completely and you can see the inside on the sides

2ds XL feels flimsy like a toy but I do like that the game slot is covered and the sd card is more accessible. For me a better comparison would be the 2DS to the DSi XL or the 3DS XL. Right now (2024 summer ) the New 3DS (and XL) are very much in demand and cost more than they did when they were actually new. You didn't even mention the changeable faceplates on the 3DS or the much better build quality.

I just got mine for Christmas but I can’t seem to figure out how to get it to charge. I left it over night and the charger had the green light on but it won’t turn on unless it’s plugged in.

This is probably way under the bridge wow, it only takes black and white jpegs? Maybe you should have let us review the camera for you instead of the other way around. The Sony menu system is pretty terrible. Obviously you have some setting wrong. When in doubt reset to factory settings and start over.

Haven’t played this Lego game, but I can say I’ve had other Lego mobile ports randomly freeze and break on crertain levels. It’s made me afraid to pick up any other Lego games that aren’t the console version (although I’ve had glitches on those too). A shame really, because the core gameplay i think is actually pretty good

A modded new nintendo 3ds is better than a switch in my opinion. It's also a true portable, pocketable handheld device, unlike the switch. The gaming library on it is just incredible. Plus ds games. Retroarch, stand alone emulators, ports, etc. Mmmmm....delicious.
