There’s H2O molecules in the air. Something with H2O on it is wet. Therefore, anything in contact with air, water, or anything containing water is wet.
The dictionary definition disproved their definitions as it stated wet was a state of being covered in a liquid, and water can’t be covered in water and therefore cannot be wet
@@paytonbostwick2899 I think you are missing the point. If for something to be wet it needs to be in contact or covered by a liquid. If water cannot be considered separable to be wet by itself, we just need to use... another liquid that does not mix with water. And thus, water can at least be made wet, despite it being intrinsically wet or not.

If two H2O molecules are touching, which they basically are, than it is covered in liquid and wet
