Then throw it again & catches it with ur palm upwards. Seems confusing? But that's really the simplest way I can explain how this game works😅 & yes this is usually played by girls. I think it was really impressive how they got the ddakji and the flying stone games in ONE CONTINUOUS CAMERA SHOT for our main crew. Wonder how many takes it took to get it. I thought maybe they would continue the one shot into gonggi but that'd be so hard to pull off.
I’ve been watching your videos since you started one piece and I love how entertained you are with Thanos and his lackey lol I’ve seen others go ballistic every time they’re on screen. im rewatching it again - but this time focusing on 001 and his expressions in the background; the top 3 I want to make it is Dad with a kid, pregnant girl and then the transwoman hyunju.
There are 5 steps to that pick up game. 1. Toss one dice up and pick up the other four individually. 2. Toss one up pick up two and two. 3. One up pick up 3 and 1. 4. One up pick up all four. 5. Hold all five in one's palm, flip to keep all five on the back of the hand, toss all five up to grab all. Each step all five dice must be in the hand to complete. Any misstep in any of the five steps you start all over again.
A thing i dont see many people pointing out is that at 8:18 its a one shot with no cuts up until they get to the 3rd minigame. Its not a long one shot sequence, but still neat to complete the first and second game on their first try in one take.
@@thatgirlwearingglasses he's more likely left handed. It was shown many times that he used his left hand more. He hold and shoot gun with his left hand. He pick up the phone with his left hand. He also uses his left hand when he holds the remote.
Been watching you lately dude. You're really observant, the way you react, especially Squid Game S1. But yeah, frontman deliberately is messing the top game. Right handed to dominant left hand. And he smiled when he picked up the top when he threw it off backwards.
The Gong-gi is played by throwing five stones, pick one to throw in the air and pick up one stone at a time before it drops, next pick up 2 stones at a time, next pick up 3 and the odd one out, next sweep all 4, and finally the wrist flip to catch all five stones. The stereotype is that it's a girl's game, but me and my friends (all boys) played the shit out of it back in the 90's, making it quite an outdated stereotype.
tbh i was really worried when they first announced that there was going to be a transgender character in a south korean show lol i was so scared that they would portray her as a comedic relief or something similar but now im glad and amazed at how realistic and well written Hyun-ju's character is !! they really they hit the nail on the head with that "although i felt liberated, my life became so much harder".quote I CRIED MY EYES OUT bc thats so real, you lose a lot of people when you decide to be yourself. ALSO the actor did an amazing job as well, happy to see how respectful and committed he was to his role !!
I’m way too invested in these characters damn it. Hyun-Ju is my favorite by far but if they take out momma I’m gonna lose my shit! Mingle has to be the best game so far imo.
Love your reactions! The way this game was filmed was fantastic. High energy and smartly done to put the (mostly) lovable underdogs first. We all know Gi Hun’s team will win so seeing Hyun Ju’s team provides more hype and tension. This ep’s my favorite in S2!
Inho was definitely faking to suck on purpose to mess with Gihun. Bc he was using his right hand and then when he did it right he used his left hand. When that last team lost and got shot, Gihun looked so sick about it and Inho was just like looking at him knowing every death he witnesses breaks him
My theory is that In-ho gets off on showing Gi-hun that he didn't learn from his mistake of being too trusting last time. It will make the betrayal that much more impactful if/when it happens. Gi-hun wants to go after the front man and he's been right in front of him this whole time.
The beginning of this episode was so hype! So many heartwarming scenes in this episode and they are probably some of my favorites of the series. I’m not looking forward to seeing everyone’s future with how things will probably go 🥲
I noticed from the previous episodes the The Frontman is left handed and he did most of the throwing of the top right handed that's why he failed in his first attempts, and when time is about losing, he threw the top with his dominant hand which is the left hand that's why he was successful and eventually the team was able to catch up and won the game. He is sabotaging GiHun
The minigame with the pebbles seriously seems so much harder than the others where you get one square and need to turn the other once, one stone and need to hit the target, one spinner and make it spin once. The pebbles game has several, you need to throw and catch them several times apparently in a certain way. If you get twice right, you can still fail at level 4.
TLDR rules for gonggi. Scatter stones and select a “jockey” (throwing stone). Throw the jockey to pick up 1 stone from the ground then repeat to pick up 2,3 and 4 stones. Then flip all stones to the back of your hand, then catch them all.
8:25 how dare you laugh at this legendary music by shin hae cheoul.. This music was made in 1988 and it has been one of the most famous music in Korea for decades.. this music was to shiw tribute to him because he died in 2014. Been 10years 😢😢. Don't you dare laugh 😅😅
Having not watched further (going one ep a day), my guess for Mingle would be that the required group size number won't add up to the total finely. There are 255 in, when it requires 10 in a group, it's 25 groups for 250 people; but 5 are left that can't form a big enough group and those will be disqualified. And that for several rounds until a certain wanted total.
for some reason I thought I could remember you reacting to another kdrama called The Glory and I was waiting to if you would recognize the actor playing Hyun Ju from that one but I just double checked and I guess I totally made that up lol but hey, if you wanna see more of that actor The Glory is a great show (though his character is A Lot less likeable in that one lol)
the game gonggi is similar to Jacks if you've ever played that. you have to pick the stones up in increasing numbers. the first time, you pick up one at a time. the second time, you pick up two at a time, etc...because there are only 5 pieces in gonggi, you pick up the right number the first time and then pick up what's left. the big difference is catching the Jacks on the back of your hand; I never did that when I played Jacks as a kid.
the Thanos character was so fun to watch. it's messed up how so many "fans" of the show back in SK want the actor to apologize for his "bad acting". smh
For Gong-gi there are basically different levels you need to pass, in order, to complete it all. It's essentiality a game where you increase the number of stones you need to grab from 1 to 5. Level One: Throw all stones on the table. Pick one up and throw it, whilst airborne you must pick up another rock and catch the one you threw. Repeat for all stones. Level Two: You must do the same thing, but pick up two stones at the same time when a stone is airborne. Level Three: The same thing again, but you pick up three stones at the same time, and then one single stone. Level Four: Holding all stones you must throw one in the air, put the four stones down, and catch the airborne stone. Then throw it up again to pick all four stones up at the same time, and catch the airborne one. Level Five: Throwing all stones up into the air (palm side up) you must catch all five by landing them on the pack of your hand, then throw them up from the back of your hand (palm side down) and catch them in a single grab.
This episode really made me like some of the other players, especially on the first team that passes (minus the spirit lady, she sucks). And the music for 001 and 456's team had me cracking up. 001 is also a great actor, appearing like hes losing himself in the game, but not. The voting this season breaks my heart way more than last season, too. Great reaction

i was so scared that they would portray her as a comedic relief or something similar but now im glad and amazed at how realistic and well written Hyun-ju's character is !!
they really they hit the nail on the head with that "although i felt liberated, my life became so much harder".quote I CRIED MY EYES OUT bc thats so real, you lose a lot of people when you decide to be yourself.
ALSO the actor did an amazing job as well, happy to see how respectful and committed he was to his role !!
Yo Omni I just wanna say I appreciate you uploading these everyday. You don’t take forever like other people so thank you for your hard work🔥
I love how In Ho giving that speech knowing for sure how the outcome of the voting would be.
The game definitely makes more sense once you see a round of it😊
The next episode is probably the most emotional one imo too brace yourself 😅
I’m way too invested in these characters damn it. Hyun-Ju is my favorite by far but if they take out momma I’m gonna lose my shit!
Mingle has to be the best game so far imo.
He's doing reverse psychology because he knows how animalistic and people are
Love your reactions!
When that last team lost and got shot, Gihun looked so sick about it and Inho was just like looking at him knowing every death he witnesses breaks him
He is a psycho but he is my fave character in this season. 😢
@deandrasaint2178 oh yea for sure...I love to hate him
You think In-Ho was cheering for the underdog teams?
In-Ho: Yes, run my horsies and entertain my guests.
It's long been awhile before I watched your channel since season 1 long time no see :) . Korean algorism still work
My theory is that In-ho gets off on showing Gi-hun that he didn't learn from his mistake of being too trusting last time. It will make the betrayal that much more impactful if/when it happens. Gi-hun wants to go after the front man and he's been right in front of him this whole time.
Hyun-Ju is my favorite character 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Your reactions are making me love this season even more.
As always, you rock, Omn1.
Liked and shared.
The beginning of this episode was so hype! So many heartwarming scenes in this episode and they are probably some of my favorites of the series. I’m not looking forward to seeing everyone’s future with how things will probably go 🥲
The mingle game is essentially like a group musical chairs
I had a vision of how squid game ends. Song eill become the new masked man.
I'm not laughing at the music itself but that it's this upbeat happy music playing while their playing a death game! haha
That's basically it, yeah.
@03:27 - hell yeah
for some reason I thought I could remember you reacting to another kdrama called The Glory and I was waiting to if you would recognize the actor playing Hyun Ju from that one but I just double checked and I guess I totally made that up lol but hey, if you wanna see more of that actor The Glory is a great show (though his character is A Lot less likeable in that one lol)
Those that wanted to stay and play the games are literally the worst people on the planet
the game gonggi is similar to Jacks if you've ever played that. you have to pick the stones up in increasing numbers. the first time, you pick up one at a time. the second time, you pick up two at a time, etc...because there are only 5 pieces in gonggi, you pick up the right number the first time and then pick up what's left. the big difference is catching the Jacks on the back of your hand; I never did that when I played Jacks as a kid.
the Thanos character was so fun to watch. it's messed up how so many "fans" of the show back in SK want the actor to apologize for his "bad acting". smh
Heads up at the final episode there is a post credit scene so watch the credits on the last episode of this season
If you do the math it would take about nine hours to do the leg race. 😂
You will not be ready for the next two episodes
Good episode 😮
Player 120 is a awesome lady❤❤❤❤❤
This episode really made me like some of the other players, especially on the first team that passes (minus the spirit lady, she sucks). And the music for 001 and 456's team had me cracking up. 001 is also a great actor, appearing like hes losing himself in the game, but not. The voting this season breaks my heart way more than last season, too. Great reaction
Thanos is the best ! King T.O.P
The mods can decide if this is a spoiler, but I think it would have been prudent if they had called this Season 2, part 1. Am I wrong?
FYI, Frontman is Left Handed.
It was funny the slaps that the trans woman, player 120, gave to player 044 and the slaps were deserved, it even drew blood 😂😂😂😂😂
You start with picking up 1 all the way through. Then 2 all the way..then 3 and so on
FRONTMAN SEASON 1 oh il nam = first man/first one. FRONTMAN SEASON 2 young il = zero one. PLAYER 456 to the front of the class like COME ON!!!!!!!!
dude was dropping so many hints and gi-hun was just like ok cool idk what that has to do with me
Hey omn1, I’ve been a sub for like 5-7 months or so, and I didn’t know if you take comment requests from your videos. But anyway I wanted to know if you would do a reaction to Coraline, I’m not sure if you’ve seen it or not but it was made in 2009, and Keith David is in it. Do you think you could do a reaction to it?
I did a joint reaction with Greg on the Reel Rejects channel for Coraline actually!
Yea this season has a lot of funny moments
Bro I'm your fan but can you plss also show the video when you talk and show your face 😢😢😢
Hi, good video! I’ve made a remix of the Squid Game 2 Mingle Game theme song. It’s my first try-what do you think? 🤪🤪😝
ep5
Zero = young . Il = one in korean . I can’t believe how dumb gihoon is . Not doubting on the 001
Gi Hun rolled high in charisma and dex and took Lucky feat. But he neglected his wisdom and intelligence…
@@carmelcity9527 He's the most unlucky lucky person. Getting the worst of it that would kill anybody else but survives.
He is under a lot of stress is not easy for him to see things clearly
I really dont like season 2 english translation so many parts that are not quite correct ( i am korean)
