for anyone wondering, here is joey's animal list (in chronological order):
- Wolf (male husky, rescued from craigslist (?) as puppy)
- Storm (male husky, white, adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel)
- Lark (female husky/german shepherd mix, adopted from a rescue as puppy (?), lives w Daniel)
- Lark had babies (accident at doggy daycare)! seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue)
- Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal)
- Shadow (male husky, J&D tried to keep Lark's baby Red, but Moon & Shadow struggled with littermate syndrome so Shadow was rehomed like the others)
- Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her)
- Sakura's kittens, the zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
- Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter)
- Hen (foster mama from junkyard)
- junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose)
- foster mama dog Roo
- Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey)
- Daenerys (white foster mama kitty)
- D's kitties, the Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea)
- took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck
- May (foster mama husky)
- May's babies, the Months litter (January, February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October, November, December)
- Coco (husky foster mama pt2, false pregnancy, surrogate to Disney pups)
- husky babies abandoned in box (Disney litter--Copper, Pluto, Bolt, Scar, Bruno, Darla)
- Daisy (husky foster mama pt3)
- Daisy's babies (flower/tree litter; Goldie, Lilly, and Daphne didn't make it; Ash, Cyprus, Oren)
- Lacey/Onyx (black & white foster kitty mamma)
- Lacey/Onyx's kittens, gem litter (Opal, Pearl, Peridot, Flint, Mica, Jasper)
- 4 blind Frenchies (Mike Wazowski, Baby Jack-Jack, Linguini, Lea Michele)
- Monty had puppies (12, white/Snowball-stillborn, red/Griz, yellow/Woods, orange/Buck, aqua/Huckleberry, blue/Timber, green/Bow, light pink/Winter, lime/Fern, black/Aspen, dark pink/Yarrow, purple/Twig)
*Montana/Monty (female golden retriever) is often in videos; she is Daniel's (Joey's ex) dog, but often comes to Joey doggy daycare
*the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed! some of them have instagrams and have shared their new names/stories, but I'm not including those here
*I first created this list a long time ago and add to it every time Joey takes in a new animal...because I have it saved I just copy/paste it onto every (I try, but it's more like "most") animal-related video he posts, so no, it actually doesn't take a lot of my time or effort. I just like lists. Thank you to everyone who is giving thanks about the amount of effort though haha!

I heard unrelated dogs tend to get along better if they're of the opposite sex. (The same goes for cats with other cats.)
That is sometimes true. I think Moon would do better with a girl so he wont feel like he has to compete with any more males. Wolf would probably do fine with either but a girl would likely pay less attention to him and I think he'd appreciate that.
I've noticed that myself with my dogs!!! When our other male was alive the 2 males would fight over the Alpha position and our female didn't care!!! It's entertaining until they start actually fighting!!!
I think so too. Look how well Moon gets along with Monty 😃. I have a feeling that a little girl would be a safer bet than one of the boys.
I think it very much depends upon the dog.
Yeah.. my family was looking for another cat for our 7 month old boy Dom and we fostered a litter of 3, 2 boys and a girl and my parents wanted a male cat but the girl was STUNNING and we ended up adopting her because she and Dom got along better that he did with the other two male kittens

I absolutely love Daniel's personality. He explains things so well and he is so relatable. The love he has for his dogs is so amazing. I could watch and listen to him all day long.
I agree. I'm not a cook myself but Daniel's instruction style is the type that I would benefit from for sure. He makes cooking seem less daunting IMO.

You definitely need a girl to add to the pack, I personally love Aspen but Yarrow and you have such a strong bond already, you can't not keep her🥰🥺
Get a girl besides you have zero girl dogs except Sakura even though she's a cat. Besides you have only two boys so go with a girl so get a girl.
Getting a girl is better for pack dynamics
Your best bet will be to take him to the vet, make sure that growth isn’t cancerous. I suggest going to a vet that specializes in dermatology
I think that Daniel said in one of his vlogs that Bow will be seeing a vet. In the meantime, he talked with a vet who suggested to try the compresses to see if it diminishes the growth at all.
I'm sick with Covid at the moment and all the puppy videos between you and Daniel are keeping me going

I certainly do hope that you get well soon and you feel better , too !!! It ALWAYS is horrible when you are sick ESPECIALLY with Covid 19 !!!! Be sure to stay hydrated and eat well while you are sick because you don't want to get even worse than you are right now . Please stay away from alcoholic beverages because in the end , they will make you feel terrible . See if you can get someone else to stay with you to help take care of you so you can rest and not have to get up to cook for yourself . It will help you to feel better if you do that . I'll be praying for you to get better soon .

There's benefits with keeping a girl or boy puppy. Girl is a bit more of a personal connection with being like Monty which you adore her so much. Keeping a boy they would be a really good play mate for Moon providing he doesn't get too jealous around the puppy. My vote is keep one of each ahaha they're just too cute x.

They DO look like seals! Our doggo had a litter some years ago, and me and my brother always called the puppies our tiny seal pups. Cutest things ever!!! 🥰♥️

Daniel could legit have a cooking show/vlog. The cornbread, although a bit on the dark side, still looked very appealing to me and the pie looked super yummy. But I would probably try using apples or blueberries for the pie, given that I can't have cranberries.
Probably should leave out the 1/2 cup of sugar if you do blueberry or other fruit.
