Eclipse, Luna, Crescent, Stellar, Galaxy, Celestia or Vixen. Yarrow's such a reflection of her momma. Playful but calm. :) Goldies are very soft natured dogs and I am certain she will flourish well in time with Wolfie and Moon.

instead of yarrow how about starlight....you have moon so a puppy with a name that has star in it would be perfect.
Maybe you should name her Lupine. It's a flower native to Montana(for monty). Lupine actually comes from the Latin word lupus which means wolf(for wolf), and lupus is also a constellation (for moon). Love your content ❤️.

- Shadow (male husky, J&D tried to keep Lark's baby Red, but Moon & Shadow struggled with littermate syndrome so Shadow was rehomed like the others)

- Sakura's kittens, the zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
- Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter)
- Hen (foster mama from junkyard)

*Montana/Monty (female golden retriever) is often in videos; she is Daniel's (Joey's ex) dog, but often comes to Joey doggy daycare
*the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed! some of them have instagrams and have shared their new names/stories, but I'm not including those here
*I first created this list a long time ago and add to it every time Joey takes in a new animal...because I have it saved I just copy/paste it onto every (I try, but it's more like "most") animal-related video he posts, so no, it actually doesn't take a lot of my time or effort. I just like lists. Thank you to everyone who is giving thanks about the amount of effort though haha!

You mentioned the name "Hunter", that can be a girl's name too. I think the name "River" would be great as well. I also think "Sunshine" would be a great name for her because of her golden coloring. It's also nature related! She would have a built in nick name...Sunny! So cute!

YES! IVE BEEN TEAM YARROW FROM THE BEGINNING 🎉. I’ve also always wanted to name a dog Lunar or Luna. But I’ve also thought about startlight star for short
I just wanna say that I am SO HAPPY you ended up choosing Yarrow. I called it early on with the way Daniel seemed to intuit that she was your dog and the most like Monty. He literally named her after a character in one of your books, which immediately sent off the signals that you two were meant to be together. Just instant vibes from her right at the start, and you knew you wanted a Monty Girl 2.0. Whoever ends up with Winter, though... they're gonna have a sweet little baby angel, too.
Also, if you happen upon this comment... I think that Artemis is the perfect name for her to fit in with Moon and Wolf. Artemis is the goddess of the hunt, wild animals, chastity, and childbirth. You could call her Art or Arty for short. Artemis is also closely associate with the moon, as well as the bow and arrow (a reference to her brother's name) and she was a twin to Apollo.

im new to this channel and amazed at the time and devotion they have in caring and raising these cute animals, Im lookin to get a mini golden and that Yarrow is a def cutie with the straight hair( tho i know it can change as they grow)
@@lexidaslushygirld8268 Sorry? I mean, the video's been out and I thought it was obvious that he was picking Yarrow from the start, to be perfectly honest. I'm pretty sure there's a comment of mine on one of his or Daniel's videos from a while back where I said I was 99.9% sure that he was keeping Yarrow as an ESA because she looks the most like Monty and Daniel named her after a character in one of his books. I think he only tried to keep an open mind about other options just in case another dog really latched on. The only one close to the bond that he shared with Yarrow was Winter, but it wasn't the same. They had a really cute bonding story, though, and I'm so excited to see how she fits into Joey's little fur family.
I love that Daniel is giving Wolfe a voice by saying it was good for the pup that Wolf barked to let them know they were in his space, they need to learn how to be around the big dogs 🐶

Moon, Monty, and Wolf's names give me nature vibes for sure. Similar to Moon's, you could do Nova, Laika(the space dog), Astra, Vega, or even Star. Since they were born in early November and you are an astrology king, you could do something Scorpio related! Hunter is a super cute name suggestion as well. It would be cute to do something related to Monty, like Cherry or Treasure that has a link to Montana. I was also thinking you could do a Golden Girls name since of course, she is one haha like Rose, Dorothy, Sophia, or Blanche.

I think Autumn is such a pretty name for her, she just seems like an Autumn, its nature, shes that beautiful golden color you see, and her personality is nice and warm with a slight breeze.

I think Starlight would be a great name for her. It matches with the theme and it’s a great girls name. Also Yarrow does Shine like Starlight with her orangey yellow fur.

I have a service dog and got to see all the testing they do. As long as they can be indipendant and don't stick to you like glue (Which I know we all want :)) all the time because i tell ya, seperation anxiety sucks. So happy ya got a new little addition to your family. Sakura won't be the only female anymore! I think you should adopt another kitty friend for Sakura (I think everyone needs a little friend), it could be a good learning exsperiance for her and I thought it was so cute when you had the little kitten with her. You are also so good with animals!

Artemis since you already called her Hunter, might as well make her the Goddess of the Hunt. Could also call her Arttie for short which is really cute. Plus! Artmis is also Goddess of the moon, which fits with your Wolfie and Moon request, and very nature by hunting. You could also go with Roman name for her of Diana. Artemis was also thought of as a triple deity merged with the goddess (Luna/Selene) and (Hecate/Hekate)

Sorry but what's the point of saying Hunter is a unisex name when that's just blatantly false? It's absolutely considered a masculine name but the goal we should be working towards is to have everybody pick names because they like them and not cause of how they're traditionally used. It will take many generations for gender association with particular names to fade out so instead of pretending a masculine name is unisex it makes more sense to just talk about the name itself. It's cute and most importantly Joey likes it. He could call her Chad for all it matters, as long as she gets a name that he feels fits her.

The name Hunter being amongst the top 1000 names for baby girls since 1993 most definitely makes the name qualify as gender neutral. I’ve met several girls/women with the name Hunter, especially given I was born in ‘93. It’s not all that uncommon of a name for girls, and it’s expected to continue to grow in popularity for girls. It being more popular for boys does not denounce or cancel out its popularity for girls, nor does that have any bearings on whether the name is considered gender neutral. It’s gender neutral status is also not changed by Hunter having a more “masculine” undertone. There is also a daisy that grows in Montana called Sundancer Daisy and you can call the puppy Sunny for short.

Please keep the name Yarrow Joey! It's such a unique one, I've never heard a pet being named that. On the contrary I've seen a lot of River and Luna suggestions and whilst they are pretty names, they're also quite common and boring imo.
