How Jason created and played this stuff In the 80s, as a teenager, still boggles my mind. ..A once in a lifetime musical genius.
Sickos like this....The knowledge of guys like him and Rick Beato blows me away.
I know natural chords and the minor scale theory wise.
Great vid man!! Love all your Becker lessons. Please do some more like this! Especially of pieces of his music to which there aren't other lessons available on youtube. I cant wait for the day when people start making video lessons of his Raspberry and Blackberry Jams material =D
Beautiful lesson ernesto, thank you!🎸🎼🔥
Thank you!
Excelente
Cheers from Córdoba Argentina
Saludos a Cordoba!
We all saw the little edit when you played the Dm arpeggio) But, honestly, you're still awesome! Keep it going!
Doing the Lord's work. Now excuse me while I woodshed this for a month straight.
Jason is ridiculous!
Ernesto...You, my friend, are an ABSOLUTE MASTER!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for this awesome lesson!!!!!!!
My man, I could kiss you, been searching for a solution to this iconic intro! Cheers!
Outrageous. Stunning maestro
Damn man, that guitar looks like the one Jason used on Perpetual Burn. His black and white Hurricane. Great video bro!
I noticed that as well!
you're legend thank you!
Amazing!
nice video! which guitar is that? looks a lot like the hurricane Jason used for the perpetual burn.
It's a custom guitar made by Lance Alonso, you can find him online.
So fucking awesome. Thank you for posting.
Thank you! Jason was a master with arpeggios!
Very cool
If year would be 1990 you would have joined DLR's band. 👌
Back then that was the dream gig for any rock guitar player!
❤️
Great video thanks a lot! However, I would argue that the arpeggio shape Jason is playing on the record is actually formed so that there is two notes on the highest string of each arpeggio instead of one. This is at least how the recording sounds to me and feels also slightly easier to play. Not sure if this works similarly for you though :)
Sure, you can finger the arpeggios any way you want. But if you watch Jason's clinic at AIM from 1989, he plays it exactly like I'm showing.
@@ErnestoHomeyer Actually you might be correct, thanks for the source! I think I might personally try to apply both shapes as the regular arpeggio feels so much more natural to play for me but some transitions between arpeggios become more tricky.
To add for others who might be interested to see the clip, that part seems to be found only in the full 1:27 h video of the clinic.
@@ogresclub751 Thanks for the info. Do you know the time in happens in the hour plus video? Thanks again.
