- He didn’t let go! This was by far one of the best and scariest gator seasons I have ever experienced. I was able to fulfill my goal of catching one from the sea doo and help fill tags for my good friends John Moore and Ritchey Brown. Now, John and Ritchey gator in a way that is completely different than anything I’ve ever seen. No baiting. No snatching. Just a skilled captain and a precise harpoon throw. It was wild! Season closed this weekend and we were all able to fry up some delicious gator bites and gator fritters at a family get together. I can’t wait for next season!

Bri, what an exciting (at times too exciting) gator season we had this year. It is always enjoyable spending time with great people like you and Ritchie. Hopefully, we can pull tags again next season. It was also fun to see Malachi chomping on chomp!

Great video and learning experience, if he's not dead or shot in the sweet spot you want hold one by the bill and keep him from rolling. I've tried countless times and it never works out lol. Keep up the great videos.

What is the brand the lights y’all are using on your heads?
My headlight is homemade. It is a hardhat with an aircraft landing light. I believe Ritchie purchases his at a tackle shop on State Road 78 a mile or so west of 441 Okeechobee. It is at the Marathon Gas Station. I'm not sure of the brand name.

Wait a second wait a second dude you know you fell out the boat and by the way there's a alligator right beside you!!!!! Now me on the other hand that water would have been like a trampoline I'm talking in and out and then a change of clothes well the pants anyway.
I was petrified watch y'all standing in loops of rope. If you get tangled by a strong fast gator you'd be in deep kimche.
I'm ok with hunting in general (and population control) as long as you use as much of the kill as possible. Nothing goes to waste. I enjoy a good gator meal from time to time. But sometimes I think "you know, these guys have been swimming around for many years in the swamp". Kind of sad to take them out.
Alligators are some of the dumbest creatures on the planet with a peanut sized brain. They literally just stare into space all day or go kill something. That's it. I wouldn't feel too bad for the alligator. Circle of life homie.
