Good stuff Rob. Me and my brother came down last year to try to fill a tag but came up empty handed. We came close a few times. We're from South Jersey. My uncle lives in Kissimmee so he took us out on his bass boat, we gave it our best shot. Its not as easy as you make it look that's for sure lol. Your great at what you do. Had a blast though together on that boat every night. Like you say it's not all about killing when you go hunting, there's so much more to it. Can't wait to get one in the boat sometime. Nice try on the attempted rescue. There are two "easy" ways to get that boat up. First, turn it perpendicular to the bank and come-a-long it onto the bank. Pull the plug and wait. Second, lay a large nylon tarp out in front, pull the boat onto it. Lift the edges to make a pool around it. Then use a bilge pump with a long hose to pump out the water. You might need to make a frame to keep the sides from collapsing. Either way I suggest an Engels full of your favorite frosty beverage.

Though I am in California, so that is another reason I love to watch your gator hunting vids. I know I would love it as much if not more than what the vids can produce! I do mostly duck, goose, dove and pheasant. I also fish trout and salmon. Again, thank you for the vids, keep it up and keep kickin' butt!

Rob isn't lying about Everglades seasoning, the first week I moved here I went to publix and bought some original Everglades and now I put it on everything from eggs,fish to ribs it's the most versatile seasoning I've ever tasted!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love for the outdoors!!

Grew up on lake marion, cool to see dmfd there. Weve pulled quite a few 12 footers out of there over the years, legal or otherwise... There used to be a big bull that claimed the NW cove, had to 700lbs, but like a ninja, he always went dark when the tags came out. Happy hunting.
Great video! We produced a hunting show for Geese and yes we had to be extremely quite. Amazing show, Rob. We always want to do a gator catching show on Adventures In Fishing. Love the way you brought kids too. We had a saying "Let's get kids hooked on Fishing...NOT on drugs!"
first and foremost I would like to say love love love love love love ur videos I can't get enough of them I look at my phone every time it pings to see if it is a video of ya'll and most of the time it is not but when it is I hurry and watch the video! last Tuesday I went and ordered the everglades seasoning that ya'll use when u do tasty Tuesday and just got in on Monday and I used the original yesterday on pork chops and I can not believe how good they came out in am in love with Everglades seasoning and I will be ordering more!

Great job with the video! Had to laugh at gal being called "Gator Bait" because that is the name I call my Mom's poodle when they come over (her real name is Sassy). We live along Saddlebag Lake. I think it's perfect but I don't think my Mom appreciates my humor in it even though the dog gets walked along the road and not near the water. LOL

I would be in the tippy top of that airboat. I wouldnt care about my ego, manhood, dignity if I was in that risky situation where you can be taken down below by a gator. I know that I'll be alive the following day haha... oh and Im from Miami too!
+slimjim355 in florida their are aligator accidents all the time. Ppl bring home baby gator and when they realize that it doesn't stay little. They released the gator into random residential lakes/canals and that's when dogs start disappearing or ppl get attacked. You took the Miami part of my comment way to literal. It was more referencing that i live in florida and i dont F with gators.
When i was a kid, my family and I would go to bush gardens to see Big Joe. Big Joe was 14 feet, died in 2003 i belive. The was also a 15 foot gator named Bone Crusher found in Hollywood, Fl. not sure what happened to him.

It's a good example of conservation going overboard so well that they can be hunted once again? How long were they protected to where they were no longer considered endangered?
Of course most folks wouldn't have the following on hand, but it probably would've helped: about 4 spare bilge pumps rigged with tubing via hose clamps & plenty of spare electrical wire, all running at the same time while pulling that airboat up out of the water.
Robert, I'm a super big fan of you and you're wife's show. I have lived around the Pensacola bay for about 6 years and can't catch a descent fish, what should I do? Lead me in the right direction please.

I have bass fished that Lake numerous times. I is FULL of MONSTER gators. Dangerous to drive fast there in a bass boat!
