Good stuff! Another great topic would be ingesting ADMX files which I think helps people realize potential (can't remember if Jeff covered it).

Hi, do we need "rent" some Azure Services in order to manage (I mean monitor) centrally all computers event logs??

    Hi Adam,
Just wanted to request if you can plan something like this for OSD Training... From zero to hero like you have done for Intune.. It will really help... Please consider if you can spare sometime...

Not on this channel since we are focused on Intune and cloud only here. There are plenty of other community resources that take you through OSD - Johan Arwidmark would be a great place to start for that.

Hi Guys, Great video again! I may have a request for a new video. I am not completely sure if it is there but if it is. Can you make a video about importing profiles / application from one endpoint manager tenant to another one (customer). We have an endpoint manager baseline what will be great to be automatically deployed to new customer environments. Thanks !

It should be relatively easy to do with Graph. There are several community solutions available using PowerShell and Graph - We've also seen at least 1 company that has a paid backup/restore solution. Search for Intune Backup and you'll find several options. I'm not sure if the team has any solutions that we can demo at this time though. We will see what we can do.
      Here's an example.

Hi, Install command is not working can you please help me?

  • @TheSlowestZombie

This is failing for me. When I run the install command for MMASetup-AMD64.exe manually on a test machine I get a popup about a command line option syntax error. Running it with /? only gives me like 3 options. Looks like I need to extract the contents of this .exe and the actual setup files that need to be put in the .intunewin file are the ones that get extracted. The companion blogpost also has a typo in the sample install command (missing a . for .exe) but I think the problem is deeper than that.

Good catch on the spelling mistake.
You are 100% right on the extraction. I will be updating the blog post on that section and adding a reference in the video.

Is the log agent for servers for user endpoints?

    • @IntuneTraining
      @IntuneTraining  3 года назад

Both, however if you have the servers inside of azure you can natively just add them without having to deploy the agent yourself.

    thanks for the video.
I did everything correctly and when I deploy the agent I got an error on the install status
    Status: failed
Error: the system cannot find the file specified (0x80070002)
any idea why this is happening?
    Thank you

You lost me at cost :) good video though for a paid service from MS that should be free

To give you an idea on cost on the 100 pilot devices I'm currently using it costs me on average LESS than a penny a month. If you are concerned about cost however there is a free tier of the log analytics workspace that caps at 500MB a day if I recall correctly.
