A Nobel prize for social activities with young generations should be established. And Mr. Chamorro would be the winner more than once!! He created the passion for a 100 yo music in so many young musicians far from the place where this music born. Many of them are outstanding. Some of them like Miss Motis are unique in jazz history (can someone remember the name of any other "lady singer" who played the trumpet? At the Motis level??). The world of music and those who listen these "pieces of joy" must be greatful to Mr. Chamorro. And must say thank you to him forever!!!!!
I enjoy it so much every time there is another video from that concert. And I am so happy that I was there. And the incredible thing that Paul Mason offered me two tickets. And that it made me go to Barcelona. And the strange circumstance that I gave the other ticket to Arturo, who I knew nothing about except that he had written some very nice comments to my videos from the SAJB concert and the Andrea Motis concert in Denmark. I didn't even know his name. Unbelievable. There are a few errors in the credits. In the choir, Anna Ndiaye and Koldu Munne are not mentioned. I can't see Joan Marti in the row of singers..
Another lively Brazilian tune by the SAJB and guests. Andrea really gets into it - she has a nice solo, as do Pau and Rita. And Èlia sure seemed to be having a good time! Good stuff, for sure.
These folks on high octane are hard to beat. Always a treat when Andrea and Rita remind us that they are first class musicians as well as singers. And Pau Garcia got in some good licks as well.
Gustazo de ver a tantas de las estrellas que demuestran su capacidad y calidad interpretativa junto a los más chicos y otros más experimentados. Tremenda banda!!!
❤ so good to see this star line-up again. Portuguese is truly the best language to be singing this repertoire. I don’t understand a word of it - but it sounds so good! Wonderful to see the joy during this performance, especially Elia and the string section. Andrea excels with her vocals and trumpet solo 🫶🏼, reuniting with Rita (her trombone 👍) and the vocals. Please could someone tell me the name of the pianist? I also enjoyed his solo.
That was Pau Garcia. If you go up to slightly below the video and click on "more...", a drop-down window will appear with all the musicians' names, and a lot more info.
😮, meu ouvido está feliz

So very good interpretation !
Is Jurandir playing an electric version of a 5 string bandolim? It looks too small to be a guitar.
