Absolument magnifique! Quel bonheur!
This is new. Ignasi Terraza in this long piano solo in the beginning and Andrea Motis singing in french and playing a flugelhorn. The result turns out very well, or shall I say magnifique, spledid, wonderful, overwhelming. Sometimes words is not enough.
The umpteenth wonder that I discover in this Ignasi Terraza Channel. One of the most beautiful French songs in history (if not the most), one of the best current pianists in the world (no doubt) and perhaps the greatest phenomenon to emerge in the world of Jazz in the last 10 years: Andrea Motis. And all this well mixed, shaken and served in an elegant cocktail glass, we drink it in small sips, enjoying every moment of almost erotic pleasure. It´s well said that the secret of happiness is knowing how to enjoy the little things. This video is one of them, without discussion.
This is another example of those uncommon instrument combinations that seem to come from SAJB alums and work so well. I'm thinking Rita's trombone and her mom's guitar, or Elia's violin and Scott's sax. And now we can add Andrea's flugelhorn and Ignasi's piano to the list. And the best part is how well it turns out, a real tribute to the talent and musicianship of both parties. Well done!
This the first time I have seen Ms Motis with a flugelhorn; a logical addition to her arsenal. Ignasi stands out from the many fine pianists who have played with the SAJB by his superior left hand abilities.
One of the first tunes I ever played on the 88's that I loved after I learned to play: ""I wish you love" The intro Mr. Terrazo played reminded me of my playing. That was BEAUTIFUL Ignasi!
Just when you thought you've heard it all, there is Ignasi Terraza / Andrea Motis. It's all brand new again. Consummate musicians delivering the goods. love love love .
If I could hit Like twice I would. i will hear this again until the end of my life. I like the change of style between Ignazi's first and second solos.
So Inside the genius of this beloved 'Charles Trenet gold nugget by Andrea Motis & Ignasi Terraza 'as all of Joan Chamorro's Lush incarnations of this timeless song
Brilliant, as always!! Thank you very much Andrea Motis & Ignassi Terraza. What a beautiful interpretation this is, that cheers up, (though bitter and sweetly too, a little bit :) the cold, the wet, and the melancholic London evening :)
Quite one of the most beautiful songs ever written (Charles Trenet, France) and here so superbly interpreted. Thnk you AM & IT. (English version is I Wish You Love.)
Amei a introdução. Amei.
This pianist is from high heaven,, and that girl is a pure angelic being. 😇
The piano introduction Is beautiful but when She starts singing the sun starts melancholically Shining...
I just read through all the comments and there is nothing left to say. Extraordinary performance!
Ignasi's gorgeous intro demonstates that jazz musicians are musicians of the highest order!
Asi es. Acaricia el alma.
Andrea, great job, I am on record as saying Ignasi is the very best jazz pianist. I have heard good combination between the two of you, Jay Osborne.
Ignasi's playing is a religious experience!

There are magical moments that you want to be a part of. This interpretation of the song is definitely one of them. Great
Well said, my friend!
I have been following these two for over a decade, and this may be their best performance yet. I kinda welled up.

She is totally amazing!
She sings and play the flugelhorn beautifully!
She improvises so well wow!
If I could hit Like twice I would. i will hear this again until the end of my life. I like the change of style between Ignazi's first and second solos.

Exquisita Andrea. Genial maestro Terraza.
Another outstanding work by Andrea & Ignasi. Brava & Bravo!
Superb Andrea! Great performance
