Appreciate the detailed show on the installation. Definitely differentiates you from the others who talk more about the product and show very little of the install.
I believe they should add a pigtail to the wire that precludes cutting of wires on a new car. Simple addition and simpler installation. I had similar mirrors from Muth on my SSR and loves the imbedded turn signal.
Please ask Paragon to consider the pigtail addition.

Black mirror cap does look better. To risky placing new mirrors, hopefully you caps won’t fall off or start vibrating. I am also glad you don’t hide or cover your mistakes.
She’s on there pretty snug, but I’m sure these caps are super cheap. Not much to them

Blind spots are a issue with the C8. I put simple blind spot mirrors on mine. They were $6-8. Sometimes the simple solution makes the most sense. Cheers!

I just bought a 1LT Z51 C8, after test driving a few that were 2 and 3LT and had blind spot detection. I was not aware that blind spot detection was not included on the 1LT, so I am checking this out. I can't believe GM made a safety feature like this absent on the 1LT, and thought you CAN adjust the mirror to help with the blind spot, but it is the worst blind spot I have ever personally seen. My C7 had one too but not this egregious.
Black cap look great with that rap. Those mirrors are awesome, but probably essential if someone has a 1LT. I can't imagine not having the camera rear view mirror.

Do these work with 1LT? If so, will the wiring be different since it doesn't have blind side assistance and the mirrors do not electronically fold? Thanks!
I just installed on my 1LT and took like 15 minutes because there’s no wiring for the turn signal to splice in.. they are good for improving visibility
Bro, you need a basic carpeted work bench. Using your nice Vette as a work surface is real life Gomer Pile, and will likely leave spider scratches in the clear coat. Also, please get yourself a nice LED shop light, and a head lamp, so you can better see all the unbroken clips.
Hey Matt, nice video, those mirrors are nice. You have a bad habit that drives me crazy. When you use you car hood, top, or engine hatch for a bench for your tools, parts, boxes , etc. Would you please lay a towel down on your car before you use it for a bench. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

How do they work with signals and blind spot. Oem the blind spot light blinks if your signal is on and the blind spot is alerting. How does it work with the added turn signal? Do they blink at the same time, or opposite of each other?

You should get the Paragon Lowering Collars they work great with or without lift

I want to purchase these mirrors but I dont care to have the signal built into the mirror.. This would also prevent me from having to possibly break the cover clips. Can I use these mirrors without wiring in the signal two wires?

1LT does not have the wires for the turn signal in the mirror.. not a big deal as I bought them for the improved vision..
