There's no process, Hermes offers you the opportunity to become a client of theirs, so confidentiality is a must, they only allow their clients to buy a certain amount of bags per year.

Dude hermes should be shut down. They have killed so many crocodiles just to make “handbags”. Even the rare Himalayan one. And people actually buy them. Also, it takes a lot of time to make even one Birkin (after all it's all handmade) , that's why they are so exclusive and expensive... tbh if you can afford it and you have a passion for bags there's nothing wrong with buying Birkins, they are pieces of art!

Like from this Vlog, I learned about the diff kinds & markings of Alligator & Croc Leather. ( Tho personally, even if I could afford one, I wouldn’t buy a croc or alligator leather bag, for ethical reasons) I only have one- right now- an Hermes35 Togo.
