Hey man I'm an aircraft maintenance apprentice and I've bought some koken and nepros from your recommendations. Could you do a review on some Japanese spanners and ratchet spanners?
Hi Ryan. I hope your purchases made based on my recommendations were able to meet your expectations. Regarding Japanese spanners and ratcheting wrenches. I can tell you that as far as modern ratcheting wrenches (when I say modern, I mean the ones that have a forged body/beam as opposed to laminated bodies with the exposed gear), it doesn't matter whether it has an American, European, or Japanese brand name on it, they are all manufactured by one of a few Taiwanese OEM's. There are a couple exceptions to that rule though, like Snap-on's most current Dual-80 equipped ratcheting wrenches and Gedore's (Blue series) ratcheting wrenches. I may consider doing a video featuring some interesting Japanese spanners though!
Sweet I been looking forward to some more videos from you! I recently got some tsunoda's nippers with the silicone wire grippers off amazon recently. Looking forward to seeing more =)
Hi Chris, good afternoon. It's been way too long for a tool haul video! Congratulations on your trip to Japan. I look forward to seeing the next videos going thru all the beautiful stuff you brought back!
