Encanto, 60th Disney Animation movie released and It was truly a magnificient movie. The theme meant a lot to me, as I have felt this feeling my whole life & even now. People are not what they seem, no matter what you hear or get told about them, you don't need to have a specific gift to be able to exist & matter & make a difference.
I have lots of plans for this year and I hope you all will enjoy, 2021 was a hard and bad year for me, but we'll go all out this year. Thank you for watching.

It’s sad that he felt like he had to do that in the first place. But it makes sense since his family was so mean to him reacted so negatively to things they didn’t fully understand. Bruno expected Mirabel to get the same treatment he received from his family and the entire community if they knew about her prophecy and didn’t want her to suffer the same heartache that he did. Too bad she ended up being ostracized anyways, but at least no one was particularly mean to Mirabel like they probably were to Bruno. What a sweet uncle.
He’s the most underrated person I’ve ever seen in a movie! And he makes the movie feel like there’s no villain because of the sweetheart he is! 😄
Disney has never accurately depicted true heroism quite like this. His character is truly something special

The man suffered so much, hiding in the walls of the house just so he can see his family and have dinner with them without worrying them, he left and also came back just to protect his niece, fixing the cracks in the house for years while hiding from all. He was doing all these honorable things out of love for his family while everybody was making him the villain of the house. This man deserves much respect.
Now I must see the film immediately.

Bruno actually reminds me of Merlin. Yes, he can see the future. He also became a recluse to hide from the people who couldn’t accept his power. On top of all that, he’s a great mentor to Mirabel. His visions pointed her in the right direction. Therefore, Bruno is to Mirabel as Merlin is to Arthur.
My friend and I were discussing him and his gift, the other day. I think there is just a grain of truth in what people say about him. That he makes bad things happen. Hear me out, please.
Bruno's whole motif is sand, specifically sand in an hourglass. The sands of time. Sand is constantly shifting and swirling. Changing pattern and form. And he uses sand in his visions. As it starts, the sand rises up and starts swirling. And as the vision takes form, the sand coalesces into a glass plate. In essence, it becomes defined and fixed. Immutable. Literally written in stone. I think that as soon as Bruno looks into the future, what he sees becomes set and unchangeable. They even mention it in the song, "Your fate is sealed when your prophesy is read." I could be reading too much into it, but it seems that that is how they set him up to be. So it isn't that he makes bad things happen, its just that once he looks, good or bad, that future is now locked into place.

@@Idkwhattoputhere874 True. And she really seemed to be the exception. He had never seen a vision without a clear outcome before. However, I think that the vision was clear. Both things DID happen. Her confrontation with her Abuela triggered the destruction of the house. But Mirabella ALSO was integral to getting the family reunited and rallying with the, whole, village to rebuild it. She was central to both it's destruction and rebirth. So both images in the vision came true.

Wouldn't say he's underrated since he is most peoples favourite character
The movie is fine but Bruno needs a slower character development
He def isn't underrated. He is one of the favorites. But it's really a shame how little screen time he had.
I would say Camilo is much more underrated. I wish he had more screen time. Though I do wish Bruno did get a hit more, saying how awesome he is.

Bruno was the first to see that the family needed Mirabel but also that the family would do the same thing to her as they did to him if they saw the vision. Because like he and Mirabel says, they only see the worst in him despite him just telling them what he sees. They wouldn’t care the future had no set path and could go either way, they would see disaster and blame Mirabel and Bruno for it.
So the fact that he left his family for ten years to protect Mirabels future says a lot about him.

He was by far my favorite character from Encanto and this felt hopeful, happy, and full of magic and wonder but also humanity, family...
What a wonderful piece in just 3 minutes on a character that has so little. This filled my heart, thank you so much !

Bruno has definitely cemented himself as one of my favorite Disney characters. He's made out to be this terrifying boogeyman by his family and the community, but he turns out to be the softest and sweetest person in the movie. His selflessness really stands out to me --- definitely the fact that he left to protect Mirabel, but even more so the fact that he came BACK to protect Mirabel. The part where he comes in riding on the horse at the end of the movie is one of my favorite scenes, because by that point, we all know how afraid he is to face his family. But it's like he never thinks twice --- Mirabel is his sister's baby and by heck yeah, he's gonna protect that kid no matter what. It's just so wholesome, I can't T.T
Totally agree. There’s nothing about him to not like. When I saw the movie the first time, it was awesome to see how he played out and introduced.
That last part is my favorite too.
IKR And trying to take the blame for whatever bad thing happened because Mirabel went out to try to fix things. "IT WAS ME I SENT HER TO DO IT" more or less, like "If they're going to be angry about what's happened, let it be at me, not at her."
I really don't know how you can twist such short footage of one movie and our favorite cinnamon roll but you did it again, and in such an artistic coherent way. Loved it once more

Honestly, the character of Bruno speaks to me on a very deep level. Someone who struggles with something that is beyond their control (autism/Asperger's in my case) in a time before people understood it and the people who had it (I'm 28 now, diagnosed since age 11 or so), and that it is a hair-tearing pipe dream to try to make others understand.
Someone who only feels unwelcome and isolated when with their family because of that thing that makes them different: they try so hard to connect and empathise, but the people around them are not only unwilling but unable to undertstand why you're different, unable to to be willing to be different around you, demanding that you mold to their ideals and their world view. So you remove yourself from your family's space because you feel detrimental to them and the life they want to live in peace, without your presence causing them unnecessary problems.
This film is very special and deserves more recognition. It tells the story of a family, the roles each member play, and how each of them completes what we call a home.
I definitely relate to both Bruno and Maribel.
I was under the impression that it was very popular. I’m expecting a sequel actually. Frozen got one😒

Bruno is such a sweety. The fact that he loved his family so much after years of them treating him like he's a curse just breaks my heart. A true hero and truly good man that we should all be like and one of my favorite characters disney has made!

The part where he says, “and then..then…then…I saw you.” Gets me right in the heart every time.🥰
As a Colombian living in another country, this movie meant SO MUCH for me, it was a representation of my family, as well as the families I grew surrounded with. It felt so close, even when I'm far away, the people, the culture, the energy of my land will always be with me, a part of me. My country is my Encanto.
It warmed my heart and saddened it that he left to protect her, and watched the family from afar.
You made a much better trailer than Disney could.
Disney made me lose the urge to watch the movie,
but You make me watch it again and again.
I swear, Bruno's character melts my heart every time. He loved his family with all his heart after they hated him and only saw the worst for something he couldn't control. And he left his family to protect his niece who he knew would get the same hate he did if his family saw his vision. He lost ten years of his life to protect his sister's baby 😢😭 He's a much better person than his family gave him credit for.

Second: I think Bruno, Abuela, Mirabel and everyone else misunderstood the prophecy about Mirabel. I think what his vision was trying to tell him was that, due to Abuela's obsession with perfection and social status, the magic would be damaged, the house and the family would crumble, and Mirabel would be the one to fix it.
Bruno is much more loving and caring than his family gave him credit for.... except for Mirabel, who has always seen the best in people.... though she did not see the best in herself.

I absolutely love this movie! The animation was amazing and what do I even say about the music?! The songs are catchy, and they serve to highlight Columbian culture. They have the appropriate emotional impact for the film! Bruno was one of my favourite characters in the movie. Let's just say I could relate to him in some ways haha. In barely three minutes, this video captured Bruno from the movie in such a stunning and magical way! As usual, your editing is awesome!! I went through so many emotions while watching this! Thank you very much! And keep making such Masterpieces! ❤️🙏

This is so beautiful. I wish you would have put Bruno's line at the end when he says to Mirabel "You're the real gift, let us in."
EDIT: You should have called the video Black Sheep since it's what Bruno and Mirabel are. Or you should have called it Bruno and Mirabel because it focuses on both of them.

The single saddest part of the movie is where Mirabel sees where Bruno has drawn a plate with his name near the dining area, so he can still feel part of the family at mealtime.

Like how the editing could make a trailer change the entire scheme of a movie. It's a musical movie. But this, this feels like one of those life, drama, love movies and trailers you'd see.

The reason why the vision showed Mirabel breaking and uniting the house is because she is the reason for both. The house needed to be destroyed for a new one to be built on top and she was necessary for both

that is kinda sweet and badass not being bound by fate is the best thing cause you literally and metaphysically are your own boss. she was not given a superpower to make sure she wasn't blinded by it like her family was to the warning of Bruno.

Such a beautiful movie! I was able to catch it at a friend's house and we were both crying.
I feel like I connected with both Bruno and Mirabel on a personal level, more so than any other Disney character. The only exception being Lilo from Lilo and Stitch.
While I love my family, I do feel like the odd one out on account of me being autistic. My habits and quirky nature really resemble those of Bruno, as I'm VERY superstitious and exceed caution around certain circumstances that I'm not familiar with, such as a crowded place and loud noises. That's just me though.
This REALLY hit home for me.... I wish THIS was the trailer of the movie instead. Great job!
In most Disney movies, green was always associated with villains or the bad, but here it just shows a tragic man who wants to be accepted and protect his precious family despite how his gift so humbling yet leaving people around him fumbling.
This is a truely beautiful movie. I'm glad I convinced my mom to watch it in the theaters.
