    Thanks for the tips on clearance sales. I've got a tank sprayer coming, I'm gonna probably do the Spectracide weed killer to mix up and smoke the nasty weeds choking my lawn. How's the front yard looking, I'd like to see that in a future update.

    It's amazing how weeds respond to rain. I sprayed 6 gallons of weed killer a few days ago after a little rain.

    I learned about Spectracide weed killer from you. It's really good stuff for the price. Like you, I buy it out of season but, I put it in my backpack sprayer with a little urea or AMS.

    I used the hose in sprayer and did a second application about 10 days later. Did an awesome job killing the weeds. Now that they are dead do I just leave them or do I have to pull them out ?

    I live in the northeast and have a crazy amount of nutsedge in my lawn. Watched one of your other videos where you used the spectracide nutsedge killer that attaches to the hose. I applied this yesterday. No rain is expected until late in the week. Do you recommend I water the grass? Also, what late summer fertilizer would you recommend? Appreciate it!

    • @LawnAmateur
      @LawnAmateur  2 месяца назад +1

      You can water the grass that's perfectly fine. For a late summer fertilizers you can use you can use a basic 10-10-10 or use sta green 8-0-2 this is located at Lowe's.

    Can you tell me which one to buy for my St Augustine Grass? thank you

    • @LawnAmateur
      @LawnAmateur  6 месяцев назад

      Yes, for St Augustine grass, you need to get the purple top Spectracide or the purple labeled Round up. Those 2 are made specially for St Augustine grass

    Newbie here 👋🏽 how do I determine the type of grass I have?

    • @LawnAmateur
      @LawnAmateur  6 месяцев назад

      It depends on where you live most of the time. Cool Season grass is more common in cold weather states and warm season grass in hot weather states with the exception of the transition zone cold and hot states. I hope this makes sense

    What is the best stuff to use on your lawn that’s pet friendly? If it’s not pet friendly how long do I got to wait until my pet can playing in the yard

    • @LawnAmateur
      @LawnAmateur  7 месяцев назад

      There's not alot of pet friendly selective herbicides on the market. If you have to use one of the non pet friendly herbicides just make sure you keep them out the yard for atleast 24-48 hours according to the products

The instructions on the spectracide weed stop doesn’t mentioned how many ounces are left before empty thanks for info. Also fence is looking good didn’t think it was going to survive

    For sure to leave footwear out of the house.
    Like they say, kids "grow like weeds"...These are "weed killers" 😮😮😮joke😅.
    I leave my yard work shoes in the garage👍
    Just praued the yellow nozzle bottle 2 weeks ago and it took almost 10 days(?) before I started to see some results.
    I still have MANY weeds. Just got 2 bags to granules to spread in my back yard.
    How long do I need to wait to re-spray my yard? This time with the orange bottle that just got delivered from Amazon.
    Yeah, I'm too lazy to read instructions😂
    We're "expecting" rain in 2 days here in Eastern NC...so they day.
