Someone very close to me does mission work in Malawi and I've seen some of the abject poverty of the place and some of the video clips of what the more recent cyclone has done to the people. Have also heard of the abject terror that has been going on in Goma, DRC, that it's peoples are living under. I thought no one in the world (at least among the leaders) cared.
