    Great channel, I'm getting around converting a street sweeper to hpa, or pcp... Any thoughts?

    Addicted to this channel Bro. Just wanted some advice. I have an 1100 psi tank with adapter on the way from Airgun Depot. Will i get more power putting it in the back of the hdb 68 or in the bottom of the grip? Valve block is removed. Restrictor is still in. Thanks.

      either or same power, unless you use a air chamber extension then go in the brass cap port, but with normal hpa then what ever works for you, same power

      hahaha probably a hand pump i hope your in good shape lol i use a scuba tank 4500 psi carbon i have 2 9l tanks and i fill my 13 ci tanks in 3 seconds i now got a compressor for them cuz it was 25 per fill per tank now its paying for itself and air is free :)

    Hello Jeff thanks for making this informative Video. I'm wondering I have hdr50 just fitted barrel extension DHR50 power kit but when it comes to shooting 8g steel balls there's not mutch power. Is doing this mode worth it and will it shoot the 8g sttel balls further? What will it cost including the cheap compressor?

    • @UmarexLessLethalHomeDefense
      @UmarexLessLethalHomeDefense  5 месяцев назад +1

      oh yes man you will get huge gains from going with hpa air and slightly longer barrels, you can reach over 100 joules just from a barrel extension and 1100 hpa tank after you remove the valve block so easy and cheap your steel balls will make clean holes through 1 inch of plywood and coconuts without cracking them :) and i just got a cheap yong heng type compressor for 225 cad i see there on for 189 cad and i fill to 4500 psi with my tanks

      @@UmarexLessLethalHomeDefense to be honest I got put of when I realised I had to buy a compressor and they are not cheap. What did you pay for the compsesor? How long do you think the compressor will last before you have to bug another one?

    Hi Jeff. How much more power are you getting between the short connector and the extra long HPA adapter. Cheers

  • @-hopstar-

    Hey Jeff. I have the HPA coming out the co2 grip. If I get a 3 piece tuning barrel, do I need to change the HPA to come out the back of the gun , out the brass cap? Will it need be set up like that to get the high joules. Thanks dude 😊

    • @UmarexLessLethalHomeDefense
      @UmarexLessLethalHomeDefense  7 месяцев назад +2

      you should get the same power in the pistol grip as the brass cap, so what ever you like best you can run either way, if you get the barrels you will get nice gains, remove the valve block as well

    • @-hopstar-
      @-hopstar- 7 месяцев назад

      Just fitted HD24 tuning barrel. Hell of difference! 75-78 joules. Might get the sniper extensions, run the HPA out the back 😊 thanks bro

    QUESTION: Is it safe to have high PSI added to a ghun meant for a tiny throw away tank.? I saw a video where a guy returned home and his HDR exploded... worried about that

    • @UmarexLessLethalHomeDefense

      been running these on 1100 psi for 5 years now and no issues with the threaded valves, it was the crimped valves that were blowing off, umarex has went back to the threaded valves many guys use 1500 psi and no issues, im reaching 145 joules well over 100 FPE and breaking cinder blocks in jy videos no issues just watch for ricochets lol

    Great video ..... Question from a new guy, living in the 'free' countries of EU (haha) and being a digital nomad / overlanding truck/van lifer - I am thinking about a HDS 68 double barred shotgun purchase and then upgrades to HPA and improve reliability. The concept of use is if situation, in very close proximity ie. In or around or out of van when a situation deteriorates to needing to deal with something.
    I have been thinking about 'shot shells' or projectiles and an up powered HDS 68 as a compact and powerful solution .....
    Would love to see a video or contact you to talk about the idea as seeing an earlier video on a HPA 50cal pistol it really got me thinking.
    Could I email you to chat concepts etc as I'm new but been stalking the videos and you are always no BS and think out of the box and then test concepts.
    Keep up great videos mate!

      if you gonna use the hds use sharp arrow tip ammo but dont miss lol i wouldnt use this for defense at all unless its all you got but at 20 js it can kill with the killer arrows from hd24 in the neck area rd balls will just bounce off the person
