    Outstanding time lapse with the clouds going over the lake absolutely beautiful. Surprising it's that cold with no snow yet. YOUR SHOTS OF WALKING AWAY WOULD MAKE ANY ULTRA LIGHTER SICK AND WORTHLESS. HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD CARRY 65 LBS FOR 2650 MILES AND STILL HAVE A SMILE AND JOY ABOUT HIMSELF.

    Just a beautiful video and it's good to see you decide your own schedule instead of following the pack. I look forward each day for your adventure videos.

    ok, i have to ask, at this point are you and mary poppins still just trail buddies? or was the romance in full swing by this time? yes, it's the nosey romantic chick in me that's loving this part of your story as well! ;) i hope you guys are still together... :)

      Hi Sally, Since the night we spent together at Wright Creek we've been together and are still together, youll notice that the videos will get shorter for a while and that's because we were hiking together a lot and not making much video, but after we were together for a while the videos start getting a lot longer again and start showing what we eat almost every lunches and dinners.
      Thanks for watching and Happy Trails.

      HurlgoatHiker Aww I'm so happy to hear that! I feel like a voyeur on your love life, but I can't help it. You're so adorable and you have such a love of life, and I'm glad to see you've found someone who shares that with you :) May you both have long and happy trails together! I can't wait for the rest of the videos!

      Sally Cooper I agree completely, Sally. You put my same thoughts into better words than I could. So happy for both of them!!! They are examples of another kind of 'trail magic'. :-)

      Kevin Krayna - Well, in all fairness, I think it was his instagram account that indicated there was a romance back when he first started uploading these videos, so I think there are a few of us that knew this was coming. Had I not known that, I probably wouldn't have guessed anything was brewing between them lol
      Karen W - awww, "trail magic" indeed!

    Was Forester Pass the highest point on your trip?

    • @HurlgoatHiker
      @HurlgoatHiker  6 лет назад +1

      Forester is the highest that the trail goes but we did a side trip up Mt Whitney which was the highest elevation on my trip
