Very nice grinder, glad you're back and nothing went flat.
Glad to see you back on here.
Beautiful job👍👍🥇!! We need more kids to learn these skills and get shop back into the schools… I always say master woodworkers are great but the master machinist masters all!!!

What a great idea. I have a load of parts that will be perfect to build one. Thanks for sharing.
That came out great! The extra effort really made it a nice piece. Probably something I should make for our shop at some point, was thinking about a CBN setup somewhere down the road
This guy has the best attitude. Always smiling and positive. Thanks for the great videos!
You obviously missed his rant about the quality of chinese product *costing a fraction the price* of good ol american stuff. That wasnt very smiling and positive. Or reasonable.
welcome back Dale! thanks for another great video
Very good video, u did a very good job of showing how and y, that was very easy to comprehend. Thanks
Awesome build....I want one for my shop class.
That actually is cool, and looks really good to boot. Well done Dale 👍

That's a wonderful project, very useful. I have a couple of old electric motors, some I bought cheap and some I was given for free. I intend to put them to use in projects like this. Thank you and thumbs up #693.!!

thanks
This is the kind of video I subscribed for
Fast & furious, now this was a Cool-Plus build, can't wait to see how you use it.
I have to thank you for your video on buying used lathes. I spent a year finding one and they ALL wanted way too much $$$$ for junk that should be scrapped. I found one, it isn't an Atlas, nor a Southbend sadly. Please don't laugh I bought a ~fast speaking- Central Machinery (HF) 12x36 gear head for $200. It just needed a new machined cross slide (Grizzly g4009) +$100 and +$95 to a machine shop and fluids, tons of elbow grease and it works great for what I need it for (hobbies). $395 not counting the extra toys that you can get now.
That’s pretty damn cool!
If only i could work so well and SO FAST !!!! Anyway : WONDERFUL !!! ( as usual ! )
love the free-be HF multimeter
Very nicely done sir!!!
Nice to see you getting settled in my friend.
Thanks Sir
hay dale good to see ya back
Nice build, Dale. Hopefully it performs as good as it looks.
I can see your channel really blowing up in the next couple year keep up the good work and upload more often

Love the passion reflected in your videos! One question: From where did you salvage the spindle (with bearings)? Greetings from Denmark!
Really liked this video, good work.
Thanks
Nicely done Dale, enjoyed! Looking forward to the scraping videos.
ATB, Robin
Thanks Robin, the scraping video is going to come from a different perspective then what I have seen on RUclips. looking forward to your feedback on it😀
Fabulous video! Please make sure you show in your next video how you put the abrasive on the wheel!!!!!!
welcome back to youtubez
At 7 min youve got a kick-ass bird house!
Tango music was awesome. Love that it was a scrap creation.
_Dan_
I’m glad you liked it😀
Very cool video nice job
Thank you
Glad your back, I have been making something similar lately, wish you had this video out a couple of weeks ago, inspirational, I have to start again. :-)
All the best,
Cliff
Your going to laugh. I shoot it 5 months ago and finally found enough time to edit it and put it up on RUclips
Next time start with a mailbox and save a lot of time. :-) lol Looking forward to the scraping vids.
Brian, yer a genus 😎
You must have different mailboxes to the ones here in Australia. Too flimsy and you would spend almost as much time reinforcing it as building a solid machine body from the start.
That was exactly my thought Brian... slow speed grinding mailbox :)
Mark Fryer I dunno, that big red one on the corner of my street is a similar shape. 😜🇦🇺
Thanks for the video, very interesting.
But i would still like to see how you build your bead roller, please.
superb
Alright you did a nice job on the grinder..
I know that was hard for you to say. Thanks ;-)
👍
You going to make it back to the ATL for FabTech? Great job on this grinder. I wish I had your skills and creative ability.
Nice build! Is carbide not really toxic when you grind it?
wooo Whoo go us old subscribers LOL Very cool little grinder looking forward to the next video on it.
Nice job Dale.
Steve
Thanks Steve
Great Video! I plane to make one. Where did your spindle come from?
Nice project! “Four Flat Tires” would be a great name to use for something. Your shop?
Lol. It works out just fine IF you’ve got a hammer around. Story of my life.
i've reference this video several times in building my own, its been helpful. I'm working on my table now, having difficulty getting the center height right. I'm borrowing the table from another grinder & its a tad to narrow to get all the way up to center. Came on here to se what you & a few others did with center height.
I noticed you've gone quite a bit above center, I'm curious how/why you went that way?
I'm not to far away from you now Dale going to have to come visit with you.
Very nice build. Two things I would probably change if I get around to building this are 1) the switch position and or a switch shield (right now it's going to get fine conductive dust raining down on it, not catastrophic but will probably shorten its life a bunch, a quick fix would be one of those waterproof switch covers that screw on to the mounting threads) and 2) put a bit of a flare on the ventilation holes, easy to do and would help with the very nice vintage look you have going).
Neither are really big deals and this looks fantastic as is.
Good day. I recommend to see my machines for repetition.
