Best tip of golf period.. its a shame no one talks about this except you.. i discovered this at the range today accidentally before even finding your video.. actually i found this video because of the "butt" move that i discovered on my own.. i was hitting them semi consistantly but then randomly chunking one or thinning the ball.. but this was the aha moment for me.. only issue was i discovered it late night at the range where its hard to see where my ball is landing.. cant wait til i go to the range tomorrow to try it out again.. but i felt like i was pounding the ball with this..
Great instruction Christina! I've been using a hip focused swing thought lately that does a fairly good job of getting the hips moving, but your method achieves the same thing, with all of the benefits that you describe. I found that the timing of this butt motion was a lot easier when I started using The word...BUTTER...as a trigger for first the backswing and then the downswing. This swing mantra makes the whole swing more fluid and gives the feeling of having more time to make a complete swing back and through.
I am almost 58 and a 5'4" South Asian Indian. I have been working on glute activation in my gym and on the course. But I have some deeply embedded lower back issues, and it is frustrating how I lose my progress, whenever I am off golf for a few weeks or a month. It is THE most important movement and activation in golf - glute and core. Core stability is a major issue that I suffer from.
This sounds so incredibly logical yet simple with an easy-to-remember focal point. Can I assume that by doing this weight shift issues, shoulder turn, club path etc. generally take care of themselves?
When I can remember to do her ''Butt Move'' my swing is so much more powerful and effortlessly. Now I have to work on remembering LOL. Christina always provides some of the most important and key concepts in the golf swing!
Awesome. I tailor my instruction to each student. If the Stack/Tilt method works for you, I do not try and change that. I will however, advise if it is well suited for you and offer my suggestions accordingly. The Butt Move is compatible with it as well.
All I can say is why dont more instructors teach this? Thank you Christina. A simple basic move but effective. You are awesome.
I love the way you simplify a complicated sport, thank you for this video.

Great explanation! There is no wasted info! All the best!
JamesD, Thanks Christina I have to work on this, still using upper body to much.
Hi Christina
Loved your explanation re dropping the club or using body rotation in squaring the club. Thanks

Excellent advice - I am getting more distance. Thanks😊

Thanks!
Thank YOU so much Steve!
Christina. What drill are you doing in this video with the driving range basket?
The basket helps with swing direction (swinging out to the right)!
Want to attend your camp. Is your method compatible with stack and tilt or Slightly better for power and control?

I tried out today, it worked great. Thanks what is your name?
Hey coach! I got to ask this question again on a different video lol.. is the butt move necessary for 40+ yard pitch shots as well?
Great question!. No. Yes, you need to stay in posture but as you get inside 40 yards, the legs become more passive.
@@MorePars thank you coach!
very well explained. keep your butt to the wall.
wowzers,😅☺🤭ahem!! fourth ,and a cold shower
No butts about it 😊
instead of boot camp you could call it butt camp.
