    It's very good to see your name pop up with a new video! And, as usual, you've offered us a simple and elegant solution to a common problem.

      Yay! Glad to know this was a helpful solution! (It works for me, but most people are not as fanatical about sticky notes as I am! =P)

    I just started doing this as well!! :D It's such a good hack! I'm using the Yamato sticky note rolls (they're on JetPens) so that I can tear the exact length I need to fit weekly columns. They have a 7mm width size that is a perfect hour-long slot for the tiny Nolty grid!

      =D I can't take full credit for this specific idea. It's inspired by one of the Japanese planner companies (10 minute planner, I think).

    Hi Yukiko! Thanks for your post! Glad to see you. I wanted to say that I use white "extra sticky" sticky notes and trim them with scissors to fit the margins of my planner. The planner I use (another Japanese planner company) has mini months on part of the left column, but that's where I need to put more lists of things to do. Less often do I need to see the upcoming and past months in a mini view. I find the extra-sticky is nice so the edges don't peel up, and the white blends in with the cream colored pages.
    Then I can either peel it off after the week and transfer to the next week if the tasks didn't get done (ahem) or make a new one. I find that it gives me flexibility using a 3.5" x 3.5" sheet to start.
    The planner I have is an unusual design that I also ordered from Japan. It shows both monthly and weekly views, and I must say I have used to more than any other planner, and I have tried many. I find I need both monthly and weekly views at the same time, or I lose track of my month's goals, which usually take several weeks to complete. I was thinking how to scale up and out to show yearly goals every day too, but writing them on sticky notes would start to get cluttered, because I have several yearly goals (health, professional, family, household, financial, etc.). I want to build the connection in my brain that daily habits or activities (like eating too many sweets or buying a shirt I don't need) really tie into my yearly goals of saving a certain amount of money, etc.
    Good luck in the new work! Whoever they are, they are lucky to have you! :D

      @yukikosakamura6498  5 лет назад +3

      LOL, I don't think I've ever made a 45+ min long video! I try to make videos without edits, which means that I have to retake the videos several times before I can upload one that is satisfactory. I remember I made a 30+ min one and man, I spent 5 hours before I gave up and used editing software instead. =P
