@@shoca3427 I have not kept up on the stretching routine as regularly as when I left that comment, unfortunately. I have still seen an improvement in my hip flexibility and hamstrings, even though I've fallen off a consistent routine. Learning the routine and doing it consistently for a time still gave benefits, and should make it easier to pick up again. Your comment has reminded me that I do want to get back into it. (Thank you!) It's hard to keep up when life gets in the way, but I'm determined.
dude i started stretching my splits after exercising just to test the waters and after two weeks i got my other side already! of course i was pretty flexible before and im not fully comfortable doing my splits yet but this was so much improvement in such a short amount of time! Totally recommend but dont base your expectations on my experience, everyone's bodies are different:)
I've definitely heard about stretching for 30secs from other studies, but 5min a week seems quite low (better than nothing obv). Any other studies confirm?
The paper I mentioned is a review of 23 studies! But the 5 minutes a week per stretch is a MINIMUM for flexibility gains and has to be at a high intensity (but not painful) Many others program closer to 9 minutes per muscle group. But in my experience, breaking it up into 30 second sets makes that 5 minutes way more effective than 9 minutes done is 60 second sets. There’s lots of nuance!
@@MovementbyDavidso if you have the time you could do 3 sets of 30 each day for a total of 10minnutes and 30 sec a week? I how much of a difference would that make? Do you have any thoughts on "stiff" nerves?
I'm going to bet that it is strength at length.... that is what you do in physical therapy.....stretch it out, then stregthen... and do it at length.... full movement reps so you don't have muscle imbalances and tight muscles
Your videos are amazing but I'm so far from being able to do what you can do. Would love if you're able to put together a small playlist for complete beginners that creates a mini workout routine they can start out by. Something a bit light on time commitment to make the barrier to getting started a bit easier. Everything can then be built up from there.
I had an old school basketball book that taught me that, I would do all the stretches @ 30 seconds sets of 5-10 by the time I was done I’d be sweating and ready for anything that was 14 years ago and even though I’m not as active and weigh more I can do pretty much all of them no issues
I found you yesterday and I love you and have been binging your videos and when I finally learn how to stretch Im sure my boyfriend will love you too 😂❤
I can just do it. Naturally. I'm not in shape and I'm not hurting myself. I don't know how to train it though. I want to build up strength and expand/even out my flexibility more.
do you think doing a different stretch in between instead of just resting is ok? e.g. 30 s front split -> 30 s side split -> 30 s front split -> 30 s side split
Serious question. I’m a sprinter, and I seem to Regularly pull my hamstring. I’ve done PT, stretch all the time, and still I’ll tweak it again. It’s the most frustrating thing. What can I do to fix this??
A bit embarassing, but my flexibility is very low. Still new at kickboxing, but I can't do a kick to the head yet, I can barely get up to shoulder height.
Hey there, I was wondering if training my legs with weights to build muscle, like the leg and glutes, would take a long time to achieve a split if I'm training them at the same time?
I holded my splits for 5 min and I can’t do splits and I ripped my pants umm and I’m saw but I don’t care bc I went a but thurther can u make a video of how to keep ur knees straight while do the splits 😊
not only does dude have subtitles, he makes them look cool too

Drop the fullbody flexibility routine. The youtube streets need it
start with 1-2 specific groups, like hamstings and lower back, its easier to maintain once you get it, then it is to train everything at once
Guest: your floor is so clean. How do you do it?

😅lol
"Useless noodles for limbs" is the most accurate choice of words of how you feel about your limbs after yoga. 😂
Can’t wait to hear more info! I’ve been doing one of your stretching routines every morning for a few weeks, and I’d love to improve even more. :)
Have you kept up with the routine? If so, how has your progress been?

I've been following your exercises for a week now, and my heel pain diminished 90% already. Can't wait what happens to my noodles after another week.

How's it been going?
What exercises?
thanks for the effort making subtitles, I'm learning English, and this help me to understand the videos.

I want to become flexible so that i could scrach my back , it itches
the problem is that I forget to do them
I love how u says STAY FLEXY😂
This guy is awesome
Agreed only passive stretching just gives u flexible noodle limbs. Becoming flexible while you use ur muscles is the magic sauce
I can't explain how happy u feel when i get flexible 😭😭 i feel relaxed , calm, happy and all my muscles are relaxed, i feel like a free bird 😩🙌
I've been stretching everyday non stop since I started calisthenics
Omg this will help me so much ty
Stay Flexy? You my new buddy ❤
appreciate how this man brings real scientific articles to justify his approach to stretching and posts it in tiktok format. wow
Yes im trying to learn to be more flexibles for personal reasons in the name of sciences 🔭
I keep getting so close to a split but my back leg just bends
It actually worked 💪
Me, someone with useless noodles for limbs: oh
Thank you you’re a smart instructor ❤

I did the splits one back when I was a beginner and it works just know it takes like half an hour to do it in one day
My hamstrings REFUSE
I think I did the split thank you for teaching us my split is back lop .😊
As a dancer: thank you 🙏
Who notice the different socks?
Can you do video to follow like actual stretching videos where we can do it with you and you give advice while showing us what to do please?
Where's part 2
I think you need a sponge-pad-shirt that allows you to do routines AND clean floors at the same time 👌
The floors are already clean though. The Tshirt is enough to get all the dust 😁😁😁
Can you do the back flip
For some reason 2 set 5 times a week sounds harder to me than 5 set twice a week
do you think doing a different stretch in between instead of just resting is ok?
e.g.
30 s front split ->
30 s side split ->
30 s front split ->
30 s side split
