Watch it happen: wafer paper waves

  • I created a beautifully serene ocean-inspired wedding cake last week, which included a depiction of waves in shades of blue. I painted wafer paper with petal dusts mixed with rose spirit (using a sponge gave a better effect than just a brush) and used edible glue to secure the torn paper to the cake. A quick time lapse of making those waves come to life!

That is such a beautiful effect on the cake! Are you sticking it onto buttercream or fondant?
