Yep. The batter will work for a cake. Depending on the size of your cake, bake it for about 40 min and test it with a skewer. If it needs more time add an additional 5 min, and test each time. Then the decorating is up to your imagination! x

Can I substitute eggs with flax egg? Would it still work the exact same or should I add any other extra ingredient?
I'm curious why you add mascarpone to the cream cheese instead of using marcarpone alone? I use it on all my cupcakes not just tiramisu :) It's not as heavy as the buttercream and it tastes way better than the cream cheese. But I'm guessing it's not as available in Australia as where I'm from D:

This week I lasted three days before I made some salted caramel cupcakes and this morning I found myself dipping cake into the caramel sauce like chips and salsa haha. Hey there! Awesome! It shouldn't go soggy because you only really use about a teaspoon of coffee mixture on top of each cupcake. :)

My birthday is next week and I haven't celebrated for 8 years. But maybe this year I will celebrate by baking this tiramisu cupcakes. Just wondering if each batch makes 12/24 cupcakes? As for your cream cheese recipe, can I lower the amount of sugar?
Hi Ron! This recipe will make roughly 24 cupcakes. You'll find my cream cheese frosting isn't overly sweet. I prefer to put less sugar in it because it tastes creamier that way. +The Scran Line hey Nick, I halved the recipe since there wasn't anyone else to eat the cupcakes except me and my sisters! It turned out delicious even though I over mixed the batter of the cupcakes and cream cheese. 😅 I'll be sure not to make the same mistake next time. The cream cheese wasn't overly sweet and that's what I prefer. Thank you!

I've done these before and everybody believes cocoa powder is cinnamon powder, wich is very popular here in Mexico, so I changed it for some chocolate drip.

Hello I made this cupcake and I did not like the taste of bread nor the consistency.

It sounds like you either used the wrong flour or you over mixed. It definately should be like bread! lol

+Janey Guadalupe yep, pointy cupcakes are because your oven temp is too high. Even though you set it to the correct temp on the dial, it might still be hotter inside. Most ovens are like this. I set mine 10c lower than the recipe says. :0)
