Thank you for sharing! I have question: I'd like to generate automatically, and not manually, the values of the "Position" column in order to avoid overlapping. How could it be that formula?
Hi Luca. Did you try the formula RANDBETWEEN? How about - if you make the first value as 1, for example, and in next cell you do it =previous cell+2, and drag it down? That way each of your text will have gaps and it won't overlap. Hope this helps. :-)
Hi Hardev. I had converted the data into table (ctrl + t) and used the color format with yellow header. Hope this helps. Please do let me know if you have any more questions.
When I add the chart, I do not get the plus sign to the right of the chart. Can you tell me how to add this or is there a work around from the drop down menus.
Hi Bob. If you don't get the plus sign next to the chart, you should get "Chart Design" ribbon when you click on the chart. In Chart Design ribbon - there is "Chart Layouts" tools on the left, and the very first option "Add Chart Element" is an expandable list of all the options that the plus sign gives you. Hope this helps.
Hi Shai. I understood your question as - you would like to have dates appear on the timeline chart, is that correct? If yes, then you can mention dates instead of months. Please let me know if this helps. God bless.
@@NazyaM for some reason my - and + were not reflected in the chart don't know why but when I choose scatter chart it did who knows excel 2016. Thanks for your response 👍 found another way. Good video you rock

@@NazyaM I’ll try it! Thank you 👋
Nice....Can you help me in making a dynamic calendar that can automatically highlight the current date and automatically changes with the month?
Hi there...interesting question. Let me get back to you on that one, with a solution.
How did you manage to highlight both time n height columns before inserting the chart
Hi Hardev. I had converted the data into table (ctrl + t) and used the color format with yellow header. Hope this helps. Please do let me know if you have any more questions.
@@NazyaM What happens when we convert into table that it reflected both time and height properly?
My timeline keeps adding in random dates in the timeline. There is no milestone or data at all attached to them.
You;'ll find these simple charts only work for small amounts of data. If you have more than about 8 milestones it doesn't really work.
When I add the chart, I do not get the plus sign to the right of the chart. Can you tell me how to add this or is there a work around from the drop down menus.

How to mark date duration as time line chart ?

What if step 1 doesn't work ffs
Hey there...sorry to hear you that. What error are you facing?
